Eliot Spitzer's call girl is grateful for the "strength and inspiration"

Former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer's call girl Ashley Dupre is speaking out for the first time since revelations of their conduct led to his resignation in March.

"Thank you all so much for taking the time to send me a bit of strength and inspiration via email or comment," the 22-year-old singer writes on her official MySpace blog.

"Your words have touched me and I thank you for that... with all my heart," she continues.

Dupre – who also apologizes for not keeping up with pending friend requests – is even appreciative of the haters.

"To all [those with] not so kind words... I love you too, because it makes me push myself and want it even more," she adds.

The editor in chief tells Us the nude shoot will include an Ashley Dupre look-alike

Eliot Spitzer may have lost the governorship of New York following his hooker scandal, but he's been offered another gig — posing nude in Playgirl magazine.

"His sex appeal lies in being a successful businessman and politician," the mag's editor-in-chief, Nicole Caldwell, tells Usmagazine.com. "Women like a guy who is in control, and a man who knows what he wants."

Caldwell posted an open letter on Playgirl's blog last week asking Spitzer to "strut his sexuality" — and receive "a very attractive offer" of payment. She tells Us that she's not "at liberty to say an exact [price] quote, but we would certainly be willing to pay him handsomely!"

The former governor has not yet answered the call ("I know he's difficult to reach," Caldwell tells Us), but Caldwell already has some ideas for the centerfold spread.

"We would like to put him in the Governor's mansion, a business-like atmosphere," Caldwell says. An Ashley Dupre-lookalike, Spitzer's preferred hooker, may appear in the shoot "wearing a Girls Gone Wild shirt."

What about the famous socks, that Spitzer reportedly donned while hooking up with Dupre?

"Maybe we'd keep him in socks to start, but no woman wants a man in socks the whole time," Caldwell admits.

But for now all these plans are on hold.

"We're still patiently waiting for Eliot Spitzer," Caldwell says.

"We can't get a DVD together fast enough," the Girls Gone Wild founder tells Us

Girls Gone Wild founder and CEO Joe Francis can't wait to tap interest in Ashley Dupre, the high-price call girl who serviced Eliot Spitzer.

"We can't get a DVD together fast enough," he told Usmagazine.com. "Her candle is going to burn out pretty quickly, especially after we release our footage."

On Tuesday, Francis publicly offered Dupre a $1 million deal for a Girls Gone Wild photo shoot and tour. While he was haggling with her lawyers, Girls Gone Wild tapes of Dupre from 2003 were unearthed and the deal was called off.

"She wanted more money and less of what we wanted," he tells Us.

"Our footage is from when she was 18-years-old, and it doesn't get much better than that," he proclaims. "Eliot Spitzer has put some miles on that girl!"

Francis plans to sell footage of Dupre – that was taken over a weeklong shoot in Miami when she turned 18 – on girlsgonewild.com, with a trial view costing $4.95.

"She's doing Girls Gone Wild-typical [stuff]: dancing around naked and flashing her breasts," he says.

As for reports Dupre was underage during the Girls Gone Wild shoot, Francis says, "It doesn't matter. There's no sexual contact, so even if she was 17 or 16 for that matter, federal and state law permits posing nude. We're just talking about nudity, not pornography."

Track and field star Diane Dixon says Eliot Spitzer's replacement helped her land a government job

Two days after David Paterson – Eliot Spitzer's replacement – announced he had cheated on his wife, an Olympic gold medalist claims she also got chummy with the new governor of New York.

Track and field runner Diane Dixon of Brooklyn tells the New York Post that Paterson is "mostly responsible" for helping her land a job at the city's Department of Education.

She did not elaborate further on their relationship, but claims to have recorded a series of telephone conversations she had with him.

Paterson, 53, was appointed governor Monday after Spitzer resigned following his sex scandal with call girl Ashley Dupre.

After he was sworn in, Paterson revealed that he had affairs with "a number of women" while working out marital issues with his wife.

His wife revealed she had had an affair as well.

Joe Francis wants Ashley Alexandra Dupre to pose in his magazine and go on tour

Joe Francis's Girls Gone Wild has offered Ashley Alexandra Dupre, the ex hooker who brought down former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer, a $1 million deal for a photo spread and tour.

"Her face is on the cover of every newspaper in the country," Francis said in a statement. "It's clear that the public wants to see more of her. This is a serious offer and I hope she gets back to me right away."

Francis wants Dupre to share her side of the Spitzer story in print and DVD – though she would not have to pose nude – and tour with Girls Gone Wild.

The 22-year-old has already made over $200,000 from downloads of her songs, the New York Post reported Saturday.
