"We were friends, it got romantic for a little while, but we're just friends," he told the paper.</p> <p>Baldwin, <a href="http://www.usmagazine.com/Can_You_Believe_the_Age_Difference_033108?slideshow_id=626&amp;o=3" target="_blank">31, and Maples, 44</a>, met last year and spent New Year's together. They recently <a href="http://www.usmagazine.com/bachelor_andy_baldwin_marla_maples_get_cozy_in_hawaii" target="_blank">celebrated Easter</a> in Hawaii.</p> <p>"He's just a good soul," Maples told <B>Us</b> in April.
