Reports say was taken off the list after insulting <i>Vogue</i> editor <b>Anna Wintour</b>

Rachel Zoe is none too thrilled she wasn't put on the list to attend Monday's star-studded Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC.

Fashionweekydaily.com reported that Nicole Richie's ex-stylist was taken off the list by host Anna Wintour after Zoe said she was more "influential" than the Vogue editor. (A Vogue rep says, "Vogue did not disinvite her.")

Usmagazine.com caught up with Zoe Wednesday at Allure’s "most alluring bodies" photo exhibit in NYC.

When asked about the 'dis, Zoe snapped, "I don’t really want to talk about that. I’m here to talk about the event."

So Us asked her about the event: How does [Allure editor] Linda Wells' style differ from Wintour's?

"Everybody’s different," Zoe icily replied before walking off.

Celeb blogger Perez Hilton came face-to-face with his longtime foe, stylist Rachel Zoe, last night at Hollywood hot spot Hyde.

And surprise — no cat claws came out!

"[Nicole Richie's former stylist] Rachel Zoe and I did chat," Hilton (who often refers to Zoe as "Raisinface" on his Web site) tells Usmagazine.com. "It was very civil."

"Raisinface insists that her new look is just the result of taking better care of her skin, seeing a great dermatologist and not laying out as much in the sun," he says, adding sarcastically, "Uh huh!"

Don't expect their cordial run-in to stop Hilton - who rejoiced after being named one of Us' Worst Dressed of the Year - from ripping on her in the future.

"No matter how smooth her skin gets in real life, she'll always be Raisinface on my Web site, and I will continue to skewer her!" he says. "Marc Jacobs and I are dear friends, but do not expect the same with Rachel Zoe. I'll just laugh and observe [her] from afar."

Nicole Richie, 25, posted the following thinly veiled item on her MySpace blog Monday accusing a former employee of having an eating disorder.

All bony fingers are pointing in the direction of Richie’s former stylist, Rachel Zoe, who Richie fired earlier this month after more than two years of service. Zoe is 35, stick-thin, and has long been accused of promoting unhealthy body images (Lindsay Lohan and Richie shed tons of weight as her clients).

At the time, an insider told Us that Zoe was fired because Richie “wanted to surround herself with positive people and influences."

Meanwhile, Zoe has issued the following statement to TMZ:

"There has been a lot of speculation as to the cause of my parting with client Nicole Richie. The tabloid reports have no merit. After trying to be a good friend to Nicole, we made a mutual decision to sever our working relationship. Changes are inevitable in any business relationship. I am very fortunate to have such a wonderful life, I have been married for 10 years and have been a stylist for more than 15 years and am lucky to work with such a diverse group of women of all shapes and sizes that inspire me everyday. I have nothing but love for Nicole and wish her only health and happiness."

Nicole Richie is cleaning out her closet. Us has learned that, on November 14, the Simple Life star axed her personal stylist (and close confidante) of more than two years, Rachel Zoe. The reason? The size-0 Richie, 25, “wanted to surround herself with positive people and influences,” an insider says.

Apparently that didn’t include the controversial fashionista, 35, who has long been accused of promoting unhealthy body images (her roster of stick-thin clients includes Mischa Barton and Lindsay Lohan, both 20).

“Nicole didn’t trust Rachel anymore,” a Richie pal says of the firing. “Zoe didn’t take the news well.”

Zoe’s rep denies this, adding that the split was amicable.

In her place, Richie has hired Cristina Ehrlich – who has dressed Jessica Biel and Penelope Cruz – to pick an outfit for the November 21 American Music Awards, where the actress has been asked to introduce a performance by dad Lionel Richie.

This is what we would've said to Jessica Simpson at last night's CFDA AwardsÂ --the Oscars of the fashion world --Â but she did not talk to Us, alas. But we did talk toÂ stars like Jeremy Piven, Diddy, and Lindsay Lohan. Here's what they had to say:Â Â

LL: I have fashion shows for myself every morning and my friends take pictures and then we decide which outfit looks best on me.
Us: What do you like to do when youâ€™re in New York?
LL: I like Central Park. I just like walking in Central Park but Iâ€™ve been sitting in my room mostly.
Us: You had a mystery man in Interview magazine last month, Jamie. Howâ€™s everything going with him?

Us: What are Lindsayâ€™s plans for fall clothing?
RZ: Oh god, who ever knows? Itâ€™s like fashion, fashion, fashion. Canâ€™t get enough. She loves clothes. Thatâ€™s what I love about her, well one of the things that I love about her. Sheâ€™s so much fun, you know. She does keep me busy but sheâ€™s always interesting and fun because she loves to try new clothes and new designers and she never gets sick of it and neither do I.

JEREMY PIVEN (CFDA AWARD SHOW HOST)
Us: What qualifies you to host the CFDA Awards?
JP: Absolutely nothing. I have no qualifications whatsoever. I am completely underqualified.
Us: Are you nervous about that?
JP: No. Cause I think if you make a mistake, youâ€™ll be okay. Thatâ€™s my plan for this evening.
Us: Which beautiful woman are you most looking forward
to seeing tonight?
JP: The Dalai Lama said it best.
