Ashlee Simpson did not mention her pregnancy during an interview on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show Thursday morning.

But she opened up about hubby-to-be Pete Wentz.

"I didn't know I'd be getting married right now, but I'm so happy to be!" she said, calling from her mother's Ritz-Carlton hotel room in NYC. "I'm a lucky girl."

How did Wentz – a Hot Hollywood Style honoree – pop the question?

"That part I am keeping sacred," she said, "but I will tell you that it was very thoughtful, and he did a great job.

"Of course, it was thoughtful," she added, "He's like that."

Simpson — who flashed her new engagement ring (which Wentz designed) in NYC Wednesday — said she loved her rock.

"It's definitely a big diamond!" she said. "I go, 'Oh, my God, I can't believe its on my hand!'"

When asked if she'd be marrying soon, Simpson replied, "I can't tell my secrets," but added, "my mom loves Pete, so does my dad!"

Seacrest avoided asking flat-out if she were pregnant, but asked whether she'd be drinking booze during her stay this week in NYC (where she is promoting her new album Bittersweet World).

Simpson replied, "Who knows? Maybe."

"Why don't you like sweet guys?" Ryan Seacrest asked the Hills star on his show this morning.

"They're not as fun!" Conrad, 22, admitted. Pal Lauren "Lo" Bosworth agreed, noting, "Sweet boys can be, like, filler."

Conrad says she's "easily bored" and dating is all "about the chase."

"You want the game to be played," Conrad, 22, says. "You don't want to have a great time and him to call you right after!"

"It's weak to text," Conrad adds.

Seacrest, who said Conrad is "tragic in [the dating] department," asked, "What's with you and falling for these guys?"

Conrad replied, "I have no idea!"

The Hills returns with 10 bonus episodes beginning March 24.

"I am 100 percent responsible for my actions," she tells Ryan Seacrest on his radio show

Mischa Barton called Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show this morning to discuss her DUI arrest last month for the first time.

"I got a DUI when I was back in LA," she said the Dec. 27 incident. "I was pulled over. Obviously, I am 100 percent responsible for my actions, and I am really disappointed in myself. I am not perfect, and I don't ever intend to do something that stupid again."

The 21-year-old former star of The O.C. acknowledged she doesn't have a valid license: "I usually try not to get behind the wheel."

"It is tough when people are talking about you all the time," she told E! News anchor Seacrest. "You just have to roll with it. I feel like I've got my head on my shoulders pretty good."

American Idol winner Carrie Underwood and Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus are ready to share in an annual tradition: Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve.

Underwood, Cyrus, and the Jonas Brothers (Cyrus has been linked to bandmember Nick Jonas) will perform live from the festivities in Times Square on the show, hosted Dick Clark and Ryan Seacrest.

Fergie, Akon, Natasha Bedingfield and others will beam in from Hollywood.

The show airs Monday, December 31, 10 (ET) on ABC.

Underwood — who shared her diet secret after being praised for Sexiest New Style by Us Weekly — will start touring with Keith Urban at the end of January.

The singer dished on her kids and new album on Ryan Seacrest's radio show Wednesday morning.

Britney Spears spoke out about the recent controversy over her parenting skills and her negative public image on E! News anchor Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show Wednesday morning.

"I try to not let it get to me," she said.

As for the drama over her ongoing custody battle with ex Kevin Federline for sons Sean Preston and Jayden James, she said, "People say what they want and do what they do. It's sad how cruel our world can be."

When asked about recent fling Tony Romo (Seacrest said he saw her give him a lap dance October 26), she replied, "Who?"

Spears also said she thought her new album, Blackout was "cool" and her favorite song was "Heaven and Earth ... It is a really cool track."

She had a low-key celebration for the album release Tuesday. "We watched movies," she said.

Whose idea was it for her to say "It's Britney, Bitch" in the intro to "Gimme More?"

"The producer told me to say that," Spears said.

At first, her cousin Alli Sims phoned in from Spears' Beverly Hills home and said she was trying to wake the singer up. (Spears had overslept. Her producer pal Sam Lutfi was also overheard in the background.)

Ryan Seacrest tells radio audience he saw Spears and the Dallas Cowboys quarterback “frolicking” at Hollywood club Les Deux this weekend.

Ryan Seacrest – who was at Hollywood club Les Deux October 26 when Britney Spears mingled with Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo — said he saw the singer give him a lap dance.

"I spoke to her for a minute. She seemed to be in a very, very good mood,” he said on his KIIS-FM radio show this morning. “She had her sunglasses on. I said, 'Busy day, huh?' She kind of smiled and laughed and said, 'Yeah.' And then I believe I saw her and Tony Romo frolicking."

"Lap dancing?" a co-host asked.

"I mean some would say," Seacrest said.

"She's on his lap," the co-host continued.

"Yeah," Seacrest replied.

Usmagazine.com reported Spears (with longtime pal Alli Sims) first met up with Romo when they made a five-minute stop at Ketchup restaurant in L.A.after her frenzied custody court hearing on Friday. Spears and Sims left after about five minutes.

The pair hit Les Deux around 10:30 p.m. Romo, 27 (who was recently linked to Sophia Bush), and his friends joined them a short time later.

"She was dancing and talking a lot with Tony," an onlooker told Usmagazine.com.

Spears, the witness added, "seemed in a really good mood and was super happy when [one of her] songs came on." Her pal Avril Lavigne also popped by her table to say hi.

In typical Spears club style, the singer changed into a new dress and shades in a club bathroom midway through the night.

By 1:15 a.m., Spears left with Sims, but returned to the club a short time later after realizing she accidentally left her cell phone behind.

The actor who once shunned clubs hits Hollywood spot Les Deux this weekend and makes out with a mystery brunette.

Looks like Shia LaBeouf has had a change of heart when it comes to clubbing.

The actor, 21, told August’s Vanity Fair, “I don’t like going to clubs. If I’m going to party, I’ll do it at my house.”

But Usmagazine.com spotted the star chain-smoking and “making out with a tall brunette girl” at Hollywood club Les Deux October 26 — the same night Britney Spears was spotted with Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo), an onlooker said. He also busted some moves to “Umbrella” by Rihanna (to whom he was once linked), the witness said.

“Tons of girls were coming up to his table and introducing themselves, and Shia seemed to love getting recognized,” the witness added. "He was in a really good mood and was really nice to everybody who approached him.”

The actor was overheard saying, “I’m relatively new to the scene” but was ready “to party” and "chat with ladies."

Apparently, LaBeouf wasn’t the only star in party mode that night. The witness said Ryan Seacrest arrived with an entourage. When the Van Morrison classic "Brown Eyed Girl" came on, the witness added, Seacrest “grabbed one of his girlfriends and danced with her while he sang along really loudly.”
