New mom Halle Berry continues to lose her baby weight.

Three months after welcoming daughter Nahla, she showed off a slimmer figure Thursday at the 36th AFI Life Achievement Award tribute to Warren Beatty in Hollywood.

While she was pregnant, she scaled back her fitness regimen -- which included yoga, swimming and light weights.

The 41-year-old actress -- who has signed on for the psychological drama Frankie and Alice -- began working out shortly after giving birth "to be back in fit form," a source told Usmagazine.com.

Berry wasn't the only big name at Beatty's bash.

Jane Fonda, Jack Nicholson, Dustin Hoffman, Diane Keaton, Quentin Tarantino and Beatty's wife Annette Bening also made appearances.

Asked about her husband, Bening told Us his success began with 1961's Splendor in the Grass.

"But I think when he started producing his own pictures -- that's why he is here now," she said. "He got in control of his own artistic choices. It was a long time before a lot of people did that."

About a month after welcoming daughter Nahla, Halle Berry showed off her post-baby bod in a leopard print Dolce & Gabbana dress Sunday at the Silver Rose Gala and Auction in Beverly Hills.

The 41-year-old actress — whose dialed-back pregnancy fitness regimen included yoga, swimming and light weights — began working out shortly after giving birth "to be back in fit form," a source recently told Usmagazine.com.

"She's thrilled to start exercising again," the source said.

Berry will soon head back to work.

She recently signed on for the psychological drama Frankie and Alice about a woman struggling with multiple personality disorder.

Surely, it will be tough for Berry to leave her newborn.

"Halle loves being a mom," the source said. "She is so happy."

She signs on for a new psychological drama

New mom Halle Berry is heading back to work.

Weeks after welcoming daughter Nahla, she has signed on to star in and produce the psychological drama Frankie and Alice, Variety reports.

And she isn't diving into a light-hearted fluff flick, either.

The indie is about a young woman struggling with multiple personality disorder; she is torn between who she is and a racist Caucasian alter-personality that haunts her mind, according to Variety.

Berry is already trying to achieve her post-baby bod.

She plans to make an appearance at the Halle Berry Celebrity Golf Classic on April 27.

"She wants to back in fit form for the tournament," a source told Us of the weekend-long affair (which benefits the Jenesse Center's work for victimized women and children).

Surely, it will be tough for Berry to leave her newborn.

"Halle loves being a mom," the source added. "She is so happy."

She'll debut her post-baby bod in two weeks!

The Halle Berry Celebrity Golf Classic, to begin on April 27, is the actress' chosen date to debut her postbaby body, Us Weekly reports in its latest issue, on newsstands now.

Berry, 41 — who gave birth on March 16 to Nahla (her daughter with beau Gabriel Aubry, 32) — is planning to show off the results of her workouts at the charity event. (Check out other hot post-baby bods here.)

"She wants to be back in fit form for the tournament," a source tells Us of the –weekend-long affair (which benefits the Jenesse Center's work for victimized women and children).

"She's thrilled to start exercising again," the source adds of the star, whose dialed-back pregnancy fitness regimen included yoga, swimming and light weights.

Berry also been "working on her golf game," says a second source (Aubry got her interested in hitting the links).

Halle Berry and beau Gabriel Aubry have named their newborn daughter Nahla Ariela Aubry, her rep confirms to Usmagazine.com.

What's behind the name?

"Nahla is the Arabic word for 'drink of water,'" Pamela Redmond Satran, the co-author of The Baby Name Bible and Cool Names for Babies tells Us. "Ariela is related to the Hebrew Ariel, which means 'lion of god.'

"Nahla is one of those names that is occasionally found among people of African or Arabic descent, but isn't commonly used in any particular culture," she adds.

Both names also have a connection to the big screen.

"Nala was the name of Simba's lioness mate in Disney's The Lion King, so it kind of has an African flavor as opposed to a genuine African pedigree," says Satran. And Ariela's "Disney antecedent," she says, is Ariel in The Little Mermaid.

Berry and Aubry welcomed the girl Sunday.

Aubry’s sister, Eugenie, told Us he couldn’t contain his excitement when Berry went into labor.

“He called my father to say, ‘It's time! It's happening!’” Eugenie said. “She was about to give birth. He sounded a bit nervous but happy!”

So will their little girl be as gorgeous as mom and dad?

“I don’t know,” Eugenie says. “I have to meet her first to see if that’s true!”

Gabriel Aubry’s sib Eugenie tells Us children bring her model brother "so much joy"

Gabriel Aubry couldn’t contain his excitement on Sunday when girlfriend Halle Berry went into labor.

“He called my father to say, ‘It's time! It's happening!’” his sister, Eugenie, tells Usmagazine.com. “She was about to give birth. He sounded a bit nervous but happy!”

The couple welcomed a baby girl a short time later. A name has yet to be released.

Eugenie says she hasn’t spoken to the new parents, but has no doubt her brother’s ready for diaper duty.

“He loves kids!” Eugenie tells Us. “Gabriel is an uncle, and the kids just love him. They bring him so much joy.”

Berry, 41, and Aubry, 32 — who began dating in 2005 — “are very happy,” Eugenie adds. “They make each other happy.”

So will their little girl be as gorgeous as mom and dad?

“I don’t know,” Eugenie says. “I have to meet her first to see if that’s true!”

She and beau Gabriel Aubry are "doing great!" her rep tells Us

Halle Berry and her boyfriend, model Gabriel Aubry, welcomed a baby girl Sunday.

"Everyone is doing great!" her rep tells Usmagazine.com.

Berry, 41, announced she and Aubry, 32, were expecting last year.

“I’ve accomplished things I never thought I would,” she told Parade magazine. “Now my sights are set on a different chapter in my life, which is motherhood. That’s the goal I have very clearly set for myself.”

Berry met Aubrey at a Versace photo shoot in November 2005. They went public as a couple three months later.

Of her relationship, she told Hello magazine: “I have someone who is putting a spark in my eye. I have never been in better physical and emotional shape, and I’m happy in my personal life – what a novel idea!”
