The Hills star responds to the actress' comments about his temper

Hills star Spencer Pratt is flattered that Mary-Kate Olsen commented about his temper to David Letterman Thursday.

"I don't really get why she'd use my name to get press for her little indie film that no one's going to see," he told Usmagazine.com Friday. "She should probably focus more on not getting dressed in the dark than on me."

While promoting her indie film The Wackness, Olsen told Letterman that Pratt played soccer at her high school and "he does not have a good temper. He would walk off the field." (Watch here.)

But Pratt told Us that Olsen went to Campbell Hall in North Hollywood while he attended Crossroads School in Santa Monica.

"I know I've made it in Hollywood when a famous troll is talking about me on Letterman," Pratt told Us.

"I forgive her, though," he added. "She's had to go through life as the less cute twin, which must be tough."

Lauren Conrad isn't the only one who isn't a fan of Spencer Pratt.

On Thursday's Late Show With David Letterman, Mary-Kate Olsen revealed, "He used to play on the soccer team for my high school.

When Letterman asked if she thought he was "wormy," she nodded and said, "yeah."

"He does not have a good temper," added Olsen, who was promoting her new indie The Wackness. "He walked out of a few games. He would walk off the field. He was like, 'Me or the coach!'"

Letterman said he was surprised by the story because Pratt looked like the kind of guy who has never broken a sweat in his life.

"Oh, my God — that brings up stories!" Olsen said. "I don't know if I should talk about it."

She then laughed and added, "The Wackness is a great film!"

Asked if they were friends at the time, Olsen said, "No."

After Letterman asked her how a guy can be so "oily," Olsen uncomfortably laughed and changed the subject.

Charlize Theron's cleavage-baring dress was a big hit with David Letterman when she appeared on The Late Show Tuesday.

"You look fantastic! Beautiful! Just gorgeous!" Letterman raved to the Hancock star (watch above). "Oh, my God. I bet you feel good wherever you go. You look great!"

When Letterman asked Theron about her summer plans, she replied, "I think I'm going to stay in this dress all summer... you've made me feel so gorgeous in it now."

Letterman replied, "You put that dress on somebody else, and it'd be okay, but on you, fireworks, absolute fireworks. Nice going!"

At one point (1 minute, 30 seconds in), Theron said her birthday is in August – "If you wanna send me something."

Letterman quipped, "Yes, I will, I'm sending you something right now." Then he buttoned his suit jacket.

Forget Lauren Conrad. Looks like The Hills' Spencer Pratt has a new antagonist: David Letterman.

In an appearance on the Late Show Friday night, Pratt was quizzed on what he does for a living, the Conrad-Audrina Patridge feud and how he ended up on "that show."

"How'd you get on this show, as a matter of fact?" joked Letterman.

(Letterman also held up a copy of Us Weekly with Heidi Montag on the cover!)

Paris Hilton has her sights set spending "forever" with beau Benji Madden.

"We talk about [marriage]. I'm so happy. I'm so in love. I know I want to spend the rest of my life with Benji, my boyfriend," the 27-year-old heiress told David Letterman (watch above).

"I know I want to be with him forever," she added. "If you saw us together, you'd understand."

Madden, 29 – who said Hilton is "wife material" earlier this month – is briefly shown waving to his girlfriend from backstage of the Late Show.

The senator read the show's Top Ten list Monday night

Days after Barack Obama vowed on the Late Show with David Letterman "to stop the fighting between Lauren and Heidi on The Hills," it was Hillary Clinton's turn at the Top Ten list Monday night.

"Thanks to the Internet, I can order new pantsuits 24/7 – there’s your pantsuit joke, Dave. Are you happy now?" the senator read as the eighth point on the Top Ten reasons she loves America.

Clinton's appearance came on the eve of Tuesday's hotly contested Democratic primaries in Indiana and North Carolina.

With Heidi Montag endorsing John McCain and Lauren Conrad apparently leaning Republican, Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama has stepped into their Hills feud.

"My first act as President will be to stop the fighting between Lauren and Heidi on The Hills," he read as part of his Top Ten "Surprising Facts" about himself for the Late Show with David Letterman to air Thursday night.

"Number 5: I have canceled all my appearances the day the Sex and the City movie opens," Obama joked.

"Number 2: This has nothing to do with the Top Ten, but what the heck is up with Paula Abdul?" he asked.

And Obama's most surprising fact?

"Number 1: I have not slept since October," he said.

In their big return to TV Wednesday night, Jay Leno, Conan O’Brien and David Letterman couldn’t help but take a few swipes at the writers’ strike that kept them off the air for nearly two months.

"As you know, we are in the middle of this writers' strike here in Hollywood. It's already cost the town over a half billion dollars. Five hundred million dollars! Or as Paul McCartney calls that, 'a divorce!'" Leno joked.

He also admitted that his wife had helped him write some of his lines. Even though he was without writers, he kidded that he felt obligated to return to TV because fans rely on his show for information they can’t get anywhere else.

"For example, did you know that just three weeks ago, Idaho Senator Larry Craig married Britney Spears? Did you know that?'" he kidded. "See, no one knew! This is the only place you will find that out."

O’Brien, who had a beard, cracked that the strike has caused people to "read books and occasionally even speak to one another."

Letterman’s production company, Worldwide Pants, was the only one of the group to reach a settlement with striking writers.

On his show, he also showed off a full beard that he says took eight weeks to grow.

"I know what you’re thinking," he said in his first opening line. "You’re thinking: Geez, Dave looks like a cattle-drive cook!"

Letterman went on: “We haven’t done a show in two months, and seriously, during that period of time, I was very introspective. Here’s what I learned about myself: Show or no show, I really enjoy drinking in the morning.”

David Letterman’s Top 10 lists are back.

The longtime talk show host has reached a deal with the union representing the striking writers. His CBS chatfest will return January 2 with a full staff.

“I am grateful to the WGA for granting us this agreement. We’re happy to be going back to work, and particularly pleased to be doing it with our writers,” Letterman said in a statement Friday.

“This is not a solution to the strike, which unfortunately continues to disrupt the lives of thousands. But I hope it will be seen as a step in the right direction.”

Jeff Hermanson, a Writers Guild of America executive, told Reuters Friday that the guild and Letterman’s production company, Worldwide Pants, had reached a “full, binding, independent agreement” that will pay scribes for their work that appears on the Internet.

Jay Leno, Conan O’Brien and Jimmy Kimmel will return January 2 without writers.
