FACEBOOKThank God Ben Affleck didn't marry Jennifer Lopez. By the time they were engaged, they were so over photographed and publicized, it virtually disgusting. It was far worse than Brad and Angelina now. It was obvious that Bennifer cared for one another, but together it was career suicide. They seemed more concerned about the publicity that their relationship generated, than they did about their work. And both of the careers suffered for it. It's taken some time for Ben to finally be taken seriously again in the industry. Now with "Gone, Baby Gone" released and well recieved, Hollywood finally got another glimpse of what he has to offer the industry. His personal life didn't have to be on full display for him to get press. His work stood on it's own. While neither Ben or Jen were directly to blame for the other one's failures, they were far more successful seperately than together.

Jennifer Lopez nearly wore the most expensive wedding dress Vera Wang has ever designed.
"It was a couture fabric," Wang tells CNBC's Michael Eisner. "I think all in all, there were 18 tiers. It was really probably, far and away, the most expensive and time-consuming [dress] to sew."
The dress was for Lopez's wedding to Ben Affleck – a wedding that never happened because the couple split during their engagement.
Eisner's interview with Wang airs on March 24.

sarah @ 8:22, yes the pics were for publicity, but so were last weeks of Christina Aguilera's. There were some of her down to earth dressed in jeans etc. And since were on the topic, what about angelina & brad's pics 2 years ago of newborn Shiloh??? they were in jeans & t-shirts. She had a wifebeater with her bra straps hanging out for crying out loud! And guess what?? Those pics sold for over a MILLION dollars. I get what the poster you responded to meant, I guess YOU didnt.
Only people born in Spain are Spanish. She is Puerto Rican or Hispanic... there's a difference.

Dear 7:47 AM Anonymous: DUH! They took the pictures for PUBLICITY! It's not supposed to be a "day in the life of" shot. Wow. Sometimes the stupidity in the world amazes me. I almost NEVER leave a comment, but that... wow. I had to say something. Honey, lemme break it down: They get dressed up, they take pictures, they sell pictures, tabloids run them, we see them, we buy magazines, world keeps spinning. Meanwhile, in real life, she's probably at home in sweats and a pony tail goin' a little out of her mind trying to take care of two newborns. GROW A BRAIN.
I saw the People Magazine article and pics of Jlo, Mark and the babies. It was soooo staged, these pictures only show how desperate she is. They are taking care of the babies in designer clothes and massive jewels? Come on, and although all babies are cute, the Jlo twins area cute only because they are babies, they are just not great. As for Ben and JGarner, she is a class act and he became a better man for leaving Jlo. His adaughter seems happy and so does he and Jen. Jlo is just ghetto with money and excess is the only thing that makes her happy. I feel sorry for her children, they will be exploited for her own self serving reasons and it's already starting.

Ben and Jen Gar are an amazing couple with a beautiful girl. Ben dumped JLo because she was too ghetto and diva for him. Jen Gar is plain and simple and pretty. He gave her a smaller ring because he knew money didn't matter to her because she is SO down to earth.

How could JLo get between Ms. Universe and her husband???

And he only hooked up with her AFTER Jennifer Lopez married Marc Anthony!! LOL.....By the way, I think Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez made such a hot couple!

How sad for jennifer, to marry the safe, reliable guy, not the true love of her life. Her and Marc dont have half the heat she had with ben. Now that she has what she always wanted, BABIES, I give them 2 years before she dumps him.
