I love Tom Cruise. Why do we feel that what we think a person should do is right? How many people do you let come to your house and tell you what to watch on tv, what to wear, who to marry, what church to attend, and just plain run your evry move. And once they tell you these things and expect you to DO THEM; they also let you know how sorry you are, how supid your wife is, how everything you do, since you haven't done all that they think you should do, is eratic and crappy.

This is America, so he can do what he damn well pleases. Just as you can. I think his little family is really cute. Many people like him as a person and people like those of us who sit in judgment hated him because he loved someone other than Nicole Kidman. Wow, I've had four husbands, I guess I should be in big trouble.

Do what you do, Tom. Do not let any negative comments by anyone deter you from doing what's in your gut. You have a young wife, listen to her. Stop starring in your movies and bring some young, new talent to the studio. Become the boss and not necessarily "the star." Wait until the "role of a lifetime" comes your way. Be generous, magnanimous, and produce a new author's book or something daring but well thought out.

You'll find the key. I have no doubt. Be happy and let the good times roll.....

Fortunately we live in the USA where freedom of religion is guaranteed so people may practice whatever they believe, whatever works for them. Also, we have a guaranteed freedom of speech, so even completely ignorant louts can say anything they want at anytime they want... Hopefully the rest of us are intelligent enough and forthright enough to speak out when we see the heinous errors in what the ignorant louts negatively spout.

For some reason ignoramuses come out of the woodwork to give their mistaken accounts and negative slants on issues in celebrities lives. Get a real life of your own, then learn to live and let live. If you do not like a certain celebrity or athlete, then change the channel, turn the page, or do not purchase the ticket. If there is not proof of something, then do not talk about it. If you do not have accurate, first hand knowledge of an issue, then spare the rest of us all your guesses and conjecture.

Life is short, why live it bitter, miserable and negatively. Be happy, be positive. Instead of trying to make yourself feel more important by cutting down celebrities, go do something genuinely good. Go volunteer some time at a children's home, orphanage, or pediatric oncology ward. Bring a case or two of apples, they never seem to have enough fruit. Make a positive difference.

Fact - The guy's films have grossed well into the BILLIONS of dollars.
Fact - Millions and Millions of people are Tom Cruise Fans.
Fact - The relationship with Penelope Cruz lasted more than two years, YEARS, there was no "split on him so fast" as remarked above.
Fact - Cruise/Wagner walked away from Paramount and were not fired.
Fact - Every movie star has dud or two in their career.
Fact - Scientology does not hold children against there will in Florida, or any place for that matter. Check with the state attorney Generals office and local municipality.
Fact - Paxil and similar drugs do have thousands and thousands of lawsuits pending for long term adverse health effects and circumstances leading to deaths. Antidepressants are way over prescribed, similar to the unnecessary widespread overuse of antibiotics.

Surely not one of you negative chump's has an MD in Psychiatry or Ph.D. in Psychology. Surely not one of you pathetic losers is a high level executive within the film industry and is privy to the insider info regarding the workings of Paramount and UA. Surely not one of you petty jealous, hiding behind the anonymity of the internet thugs, spends lengthy amounts of time with any of Tom Cruise's ex wives or ex girlfriends.

Do you hate the guy just because your girlfriend or wife, if you are lucky enough to have one, would leave you in a second to be with the guy? Or maybe because you know she fantasizes about Tom Cruise or some other celebrities when she is with you?

Man, I thought Tom Cruise rocked it in Tropic Thunder. Boy is funny and can dance! It was a funny movie for anyone who is considering seeing it and Tom stole every scene he was in. Let's just say that some critics are even considering his comedic performance Oscar worthy. I thought it was pretty damn great. We'll see what happens around awards time. Congrats Tom!!!

I have always thought that Tom would be very "at home" in a stepford wives kind of environment. He seems to enjoy "turning" his women into these empty mindless robotic roles. I guess that is why Penelope Cruz split on him so fast. Latinas, you know don't take kindly to being bossed around. She would have done a "I'll show you who you bossing around, Tom" and whack him upside his head with a skillet. LOL I hope Katie awakens to all this mind altering life style. Tom has done himself a major disservice by alienating the public. because as he is realizing too late Scientology doesn't put money in his hands we, the public do. What scientolgy does is take money OUT of his hands. Actors should be actors yes we all have opinions but, they need to know when to hold their opinions and not try to shove it down our throats.

I agree with justme...although I have liked some of tom cruise's movies, i have also always thought his acting was just too over the top. Of course, the whole scientology thing has always been odd also. You know, there has always been a rumor that he is gay and his wives are "beards", or fake wives designed to make him look straight. Whatever his issues are, I think katie holmes is brainwashed. she always looks shellshocked, with a 1000 yard stare and fake half smiles. and when she first started cutting her hair and stopped smiling, i thought tom was trying to make her look like victoria beckham (posh spice) because they are friends with the beckhams. But now, she has an even shorter hair style and she no longer looks like victoria. she is looking more like a man, and the man she is looking more like is tom cruise. if he grew his hair out a little bit more, or she got a trim, they would look very much alike. is he trying to create himself out of katie? whew....they are a weird couple.

Everyone has their own perceptions, beliefs and opinions! There is no difference between Scientology and other spiritual practices, they all lead to One Source. Stop judging, Tom Cruise is a good guy!

Probably people are bothered by Kirsty Alley, John Travolta, ect. being Scientologists because they do not preach it, they do not even talk about it. Tom has this superior attitude about it, he was condescending to Matt Lauer and that was when his cookie really started to crumble. You could see the mania in his eyes then and it was not pretty or easy to forget.

From what I hear Tom Cruise has been a Scientologists since about 1986. John Travolta since about 1975 I believe. Isaac Hayes since the 80's also. Kirstie Alley since the 80's. So if they've been Scientologists all this time and it never bothered anyone before, why are some people so bothered by it now?

I'm sorry to hear that Tom Cruise and his Producing Partner, Paul Wagner, are no longer working together, I wish them both the best in their respective future endeavors, etc.
