He should invest the money he has left, enjoy his life with his family, and forget about movies. We lost interest once he became a crazy Scientologist.

The release date of Tom Cruise's Valkyrie has been pushed back again, Variety reports.
Originally slated for a June release, and then an October release, the action film set during World War II will now hit theaters for President's Day weekend.
When it opens on February 13, 2009, Valkyrie will compete with Confessions of a Shopaholic and Pink Panther 2.
In the film, Cruise (who's married to Katie Holmes, 16 years his junior) stars as Colonel Claus Graf Schenk von Stauffenberg, the leader of the unsuccessful attempt to assassinate Adolf Hitler in July 1944 with a bomb hidden in a briefcase.

I seriously doubt Tom Cruise is Oscar worthy in ANYTHING that he does anymore, his religion and psycho behaviour has turned him off to alot of producers and so forth in Hollywood.
I am guessing it is a really bad movie and they need to re-do something.

If he was trying to get an oscar buzz, then the movie would have to come out between Sept-December, any movie that comes out in Febuary does not get nominated. the continuous delay shows they think this movie is a peice of crap, and can't compete with other movies in it's league, let alone receive an Oscar nommination!!!

Delayed releases are never good. Either it's not testing well, or the studio is not happy with the final cut. If this movie turns out to be crap, the Germans won't be happy, as the character Cruise plays is considered a hero to the German people.

It's either really bad, or Tom is hoping that it will be released close enough to Oscar-consideration time in the vague chance that he'll FINALLY win an Oscar. I personally think he's a goof.
