Tom Cruise's Lions for Lambs Tanks

Tom Cruise's latest flick got stung at the box office. Literally.

His war-on-terror thriller ranked No. 4 with a tepid $6.7 million, getting beat by the Jerry Seinfeld toon Bee Movie, which netted $26 million.

Lions for Lambs was the first United Artists release under the new management of Cruise, 45, and his longtime producing partner, Paula Wagner.

The top five:

1. Bee Movie, $26 million

2. American Gangster, $24.3 million

3. Fred Claus, $19.2 million

4. Lions for Lambs, $6.7 million

5. Dan in Real Life, $5.9 million

What a shame. I'm sure exercise and diet will make Tom feel better...He pretty much alienated all the women out there. So all the WOMEN took their kids to see the Bee movie because Jerry didn't attack the mental state of a post-pregnant celeb on the Today show long ago. Tom ruined the fun of seeing him in movies that day. All of sexiness went out the window -- I don't care if she did forgive him for PR sake!
If it weren't for Meryl and Robert, no one would've seen the movie!

I have no desire to see a movie with a "hollywood" spin on real life issues. I have enough friends that are in the military and they all say this far left crap is nothing but lies. The only movie so far that they said have shown anything true about our military is the little bit of it portrayed in the movie "Transformers." Who would have thought that one up! Also, Black Hawk Down was very realistic but several of the characters were actually several of the real life men combined into one character but the facts were still accurate. Unfortunately, when you get a director or producer who wants to put their spin on a war movie-well, no thank you.

That is so not true, Muslims are the first ones to take the heat. Especially after 9/11. The Bush administration does not go after Scientologists like they do Muslims.The thing that is sad is that there are many similarities between all the religions(Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Buddism) and yet we still fight about the differences. I was so sad on 9/11, we all were. However, just because I do not want to see this movie does not mean that I am unAmerican. Just because I do not support the Church of Scientology does not mean that I am unAmerican.(If you support Tom Cruise, he gives a certain percentage to them.) Plus, Spielberg does not make a fool of himself in front of the camera as well as Tom Cruise does!

I don't think it has anyuthing to do with dear Tom, Infact I think the only reason it did that well for a war movie is because he was in it and his fans went to support him. Good movie or not, we need to be able to escape every once in a while. Our president reflects our message not Hollywood ratings. It has nothing to do with a movie seeking past time. We go to forget the world for a while, not find reason for change. It is a plus when a movie inspires, but we should always count on our selves to instigate change.
