Brad, I will always keep you in my heart! Rest in peace!

I have just seen that the tox tests show brad died from a heroin od, thats official from coroner web not a magazine etc. I'm so sad he died and I'm almost angry at him coz he was starting to come thru his substance issues. Im angry coz I feel he could so easily still be alive. Its River Phoenix all over again. Brad was very talented and my idol and I admit the person I wanted to be. I'm not ashamed to admit I cried badly when I heard the news and I'm still fragile around this issue. Why did u have to go? Rest in Heaven and remember that you take my love with you. The first time I ever saw Brad I was in awe and I had the biggest crush ever. Most of my family live in Knoxville, TN and my cousin went to school with him. He brought me his yearbook to prove it because I didn't believe him. I was so excited when he showed me his picture with that dorky looking hawian shirt on. haha! He told me stories of Brad. and what he was like and that made me love him even more. I couldn't believe how close I was to him when he filmed Tom & Huck right here in Alabama. He had lots of struggles through his life but he was always a good hearted person. I am not proud of the things he has done and neither was he. But he tried and he wanted to be better. That is all that matters now. He tried and that makes him magnificent.

Ive been watching Brad for over 10 years.. i can remember the first time i saw his face up on the screen, and i loved him from then on....I dont care how he died...Drugs, whatever....That doesnt make him..thats all anyone can focus on....I bawled like a baby when i heard he died, and I think people should remember him for the good he did, and how happy he made the people in his life....So he did drugs..so what, sh*t happens....Im just going to miss that sweet smile...

He was very kind to others and was an extremely talented actor - And that is all that should matter!!! A young life was lost, and no matter how, it is incredibly sad!!!

Also sad, is that the media doesn't seem to care about Brad's passing.

Rest in peace Brad! You will be missed!!!

Brad was talented, beautiful inside and out and I hope that you will remember that we are speaking about someone who many have loved who has just died. Please do not speculate. One last thing to clear up. Brad had that tattoo on his back not because he was in a bad place, it was just who he was. Anyone who knew him would tell you that, so please remember his family and friends are in pain over this loss. God Bless you Bradley

My sister and I had huge crushes on Brad Renfro when we were younger. When I found out he died, I almost cried. Obviously, his drug abuse overshadowed his talent as an actor. That is so very sad, but not a surprise.

I just heard about the tatoo. If this is true, it is a real shame that he was in such a dark place and felt so alone and angry. To have that phrase written in ink anywhere on your body is more than a cry for help. Where are his "friends"?
I think most people believe the results from his autopsy will show drug usage or an overdose. Dependency on drugs is always a struggle to overcome. I applaud any person that fights for sobriety. We all learn the best lessons from mistakes - that is what a relapse is. So if he did start using drugs again, it would make the outcome of this story much more tragic.
Does anyone think that there is another cause of death? We just found out he got a tatoo 2 days earlier. Maybe some blood poisining? Infection? Sleep Apnea?
I am already so sad about his passing. I was always a huge fan of his work.

I always liked him..even though he was troubled. So sad that he died, especially the way it probably happened. He was just so young....SAD!!!

He was so cute as a kid, but now he's balding and geeking looking.
