Ugly Betty Co-Star: Rebecca Romijn Will Make "the Best Mom"

 Mark Sullivan/WireImage.com Rebecca Romijn's Ugly Betty co-star Ana Ortiz has no doubt the former model is ready to be a mommy. "She is so happy — she is going to be such a great mom!" Ortiz told Usmagazine.com at the NYC premiere of Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 on Monday. "She’s a kid herself, and so is Jerry. Those kids are the luckiest people. I can’t wait to meet them!" See other stars who are pregnant this summer. On Monday, Usmagazine.com broke the news that Romijn, 35, and O'Connell, 34, are expecting twins this winter. Betty's Becki Newton admitted the Betty cast already knew the exciting news. "I love the idea of a couple like that having babies!" Newton told Us. "It’s so great. A source close to O'Connell tells Us, "Jerry couldn’t be happier about becoming a dad.” He wed Romijn last July and told Us earlier this month that they had been trying to have kids. Asked about the secret to a happy marriage, O'Connell told Us: "We have a lot of fun together. I really enjoy being with her. I think Rebecca really enjoys being with me." PAGE 80 OF US EXCLUSIVE I SURVIVED DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. THE BRACELET IS WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR AND NEED TO KNOW WHERE SHE GOT IT. She probably didn't want to have kids with Stamos at the time, since she was still young and working on her career. Now that's she's older and her career has (sort of) reached its peak, it was probably time to have kids. That's my opinion.

We don't know what the deal was with her and Stamos. Can't go by what you read in rags. Stamos could have had other issues that she was aware of and didn't feel it was right to have babies with him, who knows. All that matters is she's happy now.

Will someone please address how it is that Rebecca is having babies with Jerry but the whole reason she and John Stamos broke up was that she didn't want to have children and he did? Someone should ask Stamos about this.
