According to the Hollywood Reporter, John Stamos will emerge as quite the triple threat as a full-time cast member on ER this fall.
Stamos will reprise his role as Tony Gates, a flirtatious paramedic who also is a medical student and a Gulf War veteran. He first played the character in two episodes that aired during the November sweep. The casting is formally in second position to Stamos' ABC comedy Jake in Progress, which has aired only one episode this season.
Stay tuned for the episode where Mary-Kate and Ashley are admitted to County General and finally have their bad taste in clothes surgically removed.
In other sitcoms, Stamos’ ex, Rebecca Romijn, debuts in her new show Pepper Dennis tonight. The description on the WB website calls it “a one-hour comedy about a modern woman who refuses to give up on the dream of having it all. Though she is sometimes her own worst enemy, Pepper is determined to balance a demanding career with her desire for family and friendship.â€
Actually, we watch that show every day – it’s called Our Life. Please don’t show it to us onscreen. It’s stressful enough the first time around.
