Celebs Continue Obsession With Weird Religious Stuff

 Getty Images (top), AP (center), Startraksphoto.com (bottom) American Idol judge Simon Cowell may not have liked self-described "Urban Amish" singer Troy Benham, but it appears that Hollywood did, and wants to look just like him. Recently spotted at Sundance, soon after the auditioner's performance on AI, the unshaven old timey religious look made a glorious comeback, as seen by such trend followers as Ryan Reynolds, Jared Leto, and Paul Rudd. The key to spotting this new trend: look for a young actor who hasn't shaved in about 20 days and is wearing really expensive clothes. While the stars were not heard humming the Idol reject's made-up song that he performed for the judges (including the catchy lyrics "you can be mean to me...spit drips into my face"), we may look forward to more stars growing it out even further, rocking the curly sideburns, and barn-raising. Sorry but I like my guy to be clean-shaven-otherwise,it is physically uncomfortable to kiss him and to be with him.Ryan does look hot though... too bad he downgraded when he married Scarlett Wh0rehansson...

I think Ryan looks really good. Jared looks like he's trying to be "Urban Amish" and goth at the same time. I would leave the eyeliner alone without the goth fashion to go with it. Paul....poor Paul. I guess we all can't look effortlessly good in everything like Ryan.

Ryan Reynolds had the look in Blade:Trinity. He was hott then and even hotter now! As for Leto and Rudd, take a shower, shave, get a better wardrobe and act like big boys.

Ryan Reynolds has def got this look down. sexy. Jared Leto, normally super sexy, looks like a hot mess all shiny and sweaty with the runny eye makeup... he used to be hott. Maybe if the beard matched the hair i'd have an easier time with this. Paul Rudd, however, looks straight up homeless, someone get this man a cardboard sign and styrofoam cup and maybe thwn he could afford a razor... he was so cute in "Clueless," what happened?

Ryan looks terrific, of course his hair and beard are clean and trimmed. And he's wearing nice clothes. Handsome!
Paul could pull it off, he is so cute, but he needs to clean it up a bit. He looks kind of homeless here.
Jared wouldn't look so bad if he took a long, hot shower and washed his makeup off. Oh and washed his hair with Dawn dishsoap. lol It's too bad, he is so hot underneath it all. But he is who he is I guess.

I'm usually not into guys with beards, but it's working for Ryan Reynolds. Paul Rudd is too cute so it's fine on him, Jared Leto is so pretty, but the beard is kinda weak, sorry to say.
