Us Interviews America's Hottest Mom Niki Taylor
Niki Taylor may be a hot model, but what the former CoverGirl values most these days is her hot mom status. The Hottest Mom in America host and mother of 12-year-old twin boys took time out of her busy schedule to give Usmagazine.com a call from her home in Nashville and share her sexy secrets!
Us: You're the host for a new TV show called Hottest Mom In America, set to air next year. What can you tell us about the project?
Niki Taylor: [Producers are] looking for the mom who is most comfortable [as] the PTA mom and a mom where all the kids go and hang out at her house. It helps if she’s a hot mom, too. They’re looking for a combination of what’s on the inside and on the outside. |

Us: What can you tell us about the contestants who auditioned?
NT: They had to do a photo shoot in bikinis. I don’t do bikinis anymore, so I would have been mortified. They didn’t know going in what they’d be surprised with. Us: You’re a newlywed – and your sons must love how your new hubby [Burney Lamar] is a NASCAR driver. Is your household brimming with testosterone? NT: [Laughs] There’s a lot of testosterone, but I love it. I wouldn’t change it for the world. I’m so blessed with the three men in my life. Us: Do you and Burney want more children? NT: Oh yes! I think we’re going to try at the end of the year. [I want] a few more. Us: In addition to being a mom, you also manage to operate a Nashville boutique called Abbie & Jesse’s. NT: You know what? I don’t mean to brag or anything, but my life is pretty cool right now! I’ve got a store I can get stuff at anytime I want. It’s like a big closet. Us: What are some sexy hot-mom fashion trends you’re into this season? NT: You can’t go wrong with jeans, a high heel and a sexy top. That’s just uniform for a hot mom. Us: You say you believe in the “less is more” philosophy. NT: With my career, you’re always in makeup. When you have day off, you don’t want to be around it. Us: So you're not like Marcia Cross in Desperate Housewives, doing chores in pearls and full makeup? NT: [No], but I wish I could have her body! [Laughs] Us: What makes you feel sexy? NT: My husband always makes me feel like I’m the most beautiful girl ever. He makes me feel like I’m 13. To feel that way is so exciting! Us: What’s it like being married to a younger guy? NT: It’s awesome! He is younger than I am but he’s probably more responsible than I am. He’s more of a grown-up and he’s got an old soul and great sense of humor. If you can’t laugh with each other, you don’t have a chance in hell. Us: What’s the sweetest thing you have done together? NT: I just had a birthday and I pretty much had a day-long date with my husband. He’d never tell me what was next. I got pampered – massage, pedicure, manicure – had lunch. I was so full by the end of the day I was sick. He does those cute little things. Us: Finally, as far as hot moms in pop culture go, who’s your favorite? NT: "Stacy’s Mom" -- Rachel Hunter. She was in the video and she’s definitely a hot mom. We used to do CoverGirl together. She’s an awesome girl, so down-to-earth. She’s the epitome of a sexy mom.
