By now, everyone knows Oprah Winfrey has announced her support for Barack Obama, but other stars have thrown their weight behind presidential candidates.
Desperate Housewives actor James Denton has been speaking out for Democratic presidential hopeful John Edwards – and stood behind the former North Carolina senator during his concession speech last night in New Hampshire.
Also, Chuck Norris appeared in an ad for Republican Mike Huckabee, Scarlett Johansson backs Obama, and Magic Johnson has touted Hillary Clinton.

IF I were to vote for a Dem, the ONLY one I would consider is Hillary. Heck, she was already president once, we KNOW she can do it :) in all honesty, out of ALL the people in the running, she's the only one I would vote for right now. that, coming from a republican, is saying a lot.

If anything celebrity endorsements work in reverse. I wouldn't vote for anyone supported by Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins. Nothing those two people have ever said, politically, has anything to do with the way that people like me actually live their lives. So not only will I not consider John Edwards as a candidate, but the fact that James Denton associates himself with people like that make me think less of him, too.
