If the Oscars is the grand-daddy of movie awards, then Film Independent's Spirit Awards is the cool uncle who has all the fun.
So in the spirit of (low-budget) independence, we gave Us' ever-cool movie editor Bradley Jacobs a camera, flew him off to Santa Monica, and gave him some simple instructions at the Feb. 24 indie film awards: Have fun, take us inside the show, and come in under budget.
