Wow, seriously, when does it ever say that their family was completely ok with her having taken the photo? It merely said her family was supportive of her, which is not to necessarily denote that they agreed it was the right thing to do but to say they were there to console her. And way to take things out of context. She already apologized for her actions so stop fussing over it.

Anyone with a micron of brain function knows the facts: in the age of the internet, if the pic is controversial in the least, or funny, or dirty or otherwise influential, it WILL end up on line. Good Lord! This chick is either the dumbest person in Hollywood or one of the shrewdest. She basically tells Seventeen magazine that her mother had no problem with the fact that some horndog took nude photos of her (I'll betcha she was NOT 18 when they were taken, either). What kind of message does that send to the multitudes of teenage girls out there who read that garbage? It says the following: Look at me! That's ridiculous. You're reading way too much into it if you think she's sending out that message. 'Young girls' aren't as stupid as everyone thinks. I'm able to see it was a mistake -- possibly meant only for her eyes and no one elses. She could very well still hold intelligence, good personality, etc. in high regard. When girls mature it's exciting to them to see what they look like. I can understand it was probably an experimental thing. She's just famous so privacy isn't an option for her. Which she didn't realize at the time. What's pathetic is that she can take photos and suddenly be ridiculous for being a sl*t. That's what affects young girls. The fact that one mistake and you're suddenly deemed trashy. That judgment affects us far more than Vanessa's pictures.
