Verne "Mini Me" Troyer: Heath Ledger's Death "Still Hard to Talk About"

Troyer was shooting Terry Gilliam's fantasy The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus with Ledger when the Australian actor died of an accidental overdose in January. Production on the film production was temporarily suspended. "It was very difficult for everyone, cast and crew," Troyer told Usmagazine.com at the Hollywood premiere of The Love Guru Wednesday. "It's still a hard subject to talk about," he said. "I'm sorry." See photos of Ledger with daughter Matilda. Colin Farrell, Jude Law and Johnny Depp stepped in to play one of three incarnations of Ledger's character. (Some of the original footage of Ledger may remain in the movie.) "It makes me feel uncomfortable to think about it too much ... but it's an incredibly painful honor," Farrell told the Herald Sun. The movie is set to hit screens in 2009. i was just shocked when i heard the news it was on the new and everything and i was just like oh my gosh!! i was speechless b/c i was just so shocked and sad. he was very talented and his daughter Matilda look just like him. i wish the best for Michelle.Matilda,and his family. Rest in peace Heath

It's going to be wierd to see batman but I hope they keep all of Heath's footage in the Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus. Verne is so cute! I just wanna hug him and squeeze him!!!Adorable and his voice is so cute!

i miss heathn ledger. he was really cute and talented as well. i heard the reason for his overdose was due to the fact he was getting nightmares from a loss of sleeping due to his protraying the joker in the Dark Knight. I looked at the photos from the movie and his character looks frightening. i feel bad for michelle williams and their daughter matilda. matilda will grow up not knowing who her father was and has to listen to michelle's recollections of heath. my heart goes out to them and it is so good to hear that people still mourn someone talented like heath ledger. may he rest in peace.

It's tragic that his daughter is so young that she probably won't have any real memories of him. Granted she'll be able to watch his movies when she gets older, and see all tabloid photos of him with her, but there won't be any real father memories. So sad.
