Though Britney is said to be blindsided by Jamie Lynn Spears' pregnancy news, she couldn't stop praising her little sister in a past interview with Access Hollywood.
"My sister is a handful," she said. "She is Miss Diva, she is so full of herself."
Britney said, "She'll be able to handle [the business] better than me. If anything I'll try to be getting advice from her!"
On Tuesday, Jamie Lynn announced she and beau Casey Aldridge were expecting their first child.

I think that everything that is going on with the Spears's familly is made a big deal out of!!!! that s just ridiculous!!!!!!!! Everyone needs to see that no one is perfect. the Paparazzi is a bunch of stupid people that don't have a life and have to butt into the rich and famous's lives to have something to wake up in the morning.

Number one... everyone makes mistakes... Why does she get criticized when there are so many girls in middle and high school in who are going through the same thing... If you dont want young girls to get pregnant then stop promoting SEX SELLS! Everyone young and old are surrounded by sex... So if you want the teen pregnancy rise to go down try promoting abstinence rather than "safe sex" (especially since its never 100% safe)...

Aw how cute was Britney?? I don't think anyone's praising Jamie-Lynn but it's like she already knows she screwed up so now people are trying to look at the good, which is nice. She's keeping the baby. Props to her for that. With her money and fame she could have easily gotten an abortion and no one would be any the wiser. She definitely chose the more difficult path.

I don’t know how well she is going to be handling the business being 16 and knocked up. Damn. 16 is so young. I wasn’t regularly having sex till I was like 18 – 19. But once you do it and do it right… yep, ya gotta keep doing it. Casey Aldridge must’ve been giving it to her like a champ.
