I have two words for Tom - HAIL XENU!!
Thursday January 17, 2008

A new video has surfaced of Tom Cruise calling the Environmental Protection Agency liars for saying the air was clean after 9/11.
He also explains how he helped provide 9/11 rescue workers with detoxification therapy based upon the works of Scientologist Founder L. Ron Hubbard.
"The [Environmental Protection Agency] came out and said the air was clean. Of course, as a Scientologist you go, that's a lie. Outright lie. Liar. Fine," Cruise said.
"Finally you say, dammit, just go there and do it. Put it there, let's go, here's the money, let's go. Let's just get one person treated. I can't sleep another night.
"[Scientologists] have tools that we can apply to ourselves and apply to others. You're gonna get improvements. Period."

Is this for real?? The narrarator sort of seems like he's kidding...I'm not sure, but it just seems like someone found some choice clips and made this, it sort of made my laugh, like I didn't know whether I should take it seriously or not. Am I alone in thinking this??
he seems to almost fit the profile of the antichrist
F@KE - When I'm not at school or work, or I'm bored in a class, I prefer to amuse myself with inane threads such as this.
Not saying I agree with Scientology, but I see it harming people no moreso than Jehovah's witnesses who don't allow members to have life saving blood transfusions.
Simply put F@KE, I think you're wasting a lot of your time and energy in worrying that Scientologists are going to bring this country down. But whatever, to each his own...lol!
"As one who saw firsthand what was needed at the World Trade Center site in the days and weeks immediately after September 11th, I want to thank you, the Church of Scientology and the Volunteer Ministers of the Church of Scientology, many of whom came long distances to help us.
“The Volunteer Ministers worked with great energy and great compassion at Ground Zero, helping to ease the physical burdens, and mental strains, of the rescue workers. From the earliest days of this tragedy, until the time when volunteers were no longer needed at the site, the people of your church were there in force.
“The organization, the caring, and the dedication of your Volunteer Ministers were exceptional, and very much appreciated, and will long be remembered by those who received their help. I cannot thank the Volunteer Ministers enough.”
>>Chief of the New York City Police, Joseph Esposito, acknowledging the work of the Volunteer Ministers at Ground Zero<<

Katie E., it doesn't take much effort to educate oneself about Scientology, or anything for that matter. Certainly no more effort than it does to blog here. But your comments clearly show that you have yet to do that, so I am not sure why if you are so uninterested you continue to comment. They do have a foothold, they are dangerous, they do force it on people, the danger is not inane (FBI files back that up).
So if the group who is guilty of the largest domestic spy program ever is inane and is not dangerous, if a group whose practices cause people to die is not dangerous, I guess it takes more deaths and something that will get media attention for some to grasp. That's a shame. In the meantime they continue to get more people in office and carry on with their known plans while people sit blissfully unaware. And when they own half of another city, are not paying taxes on that property, causing a severe decline in revenue --also part of their known plans...well, people will only have themselves to blame.
1:42, it's partially because of the status that you hear Cruise talk more. Compare his celebrity (a few years ago anyway) with Travolta's and Remini's. He has, or had, more reach with people which is why he became the spokesperson. Trust me, the mega-ego that you see in Cruise is prevalent in all high ranking Scientology members.
You seem to think Tom Cruise and Scientology are VERY big deals!
someone asked a question and I gave an answer....there is no "big deal" here
Who cares? So he "strongly urges" people to consider Scientology. At the end of the day, I just throw the briefcase or wedding gift away and keep my distance from Tom Cruise. What's the big deal?
do you comprehend the expression shoving it down your throat?
He conducts most of his business meetings at the celebrity center and strongly urges anyone who accompanies him there to sit through a 3 hour seminar...this includes journalists. He then sends them personalized brief cases...full of $cientology literature.
On his sets he sets up tents and strongly urges everyone to take a free personality test
everyone at his wedding got a gift bag....full of $cientology literature
it's VERY agressive behavior at the very least
Sounds like a cult to me. But you don't hear John Travolta or Leah Remini talk like this. They only say how it helps them. Tom Cruise is on some kind of power trip. He must be a real joy to live with, I don't know why Katie married him. He's scary crazy, while Britney is just sad crazy. Religon should lift you up and make you feel better and help you live a more fulfilling life, Tom has such much anger and critcism for everything, it can't be very healthy to live like that.
Now you're telling people who they should and shouldn't "debate" with?????
you're a REAL piece of work jolee...how about if you listen to your own advice???

LIBRAESQUE - So, since you are so well versed in entertainment industry law/lingo/etc., can you please explain to me how Tom Cruise FORCES me to watch his interviews and subscribe to the Scientology religion? I'm really interested to hear this. Thank-you, and good luck...may the non-Scientologist force be with you.
* Sorry Jolee, I couldn't help myself. Some of these responses are hysterical and what can I say, class is boring right now. lol!
Katie E., don't waste your time responding to Libraesque. It will be a complete waste of breath. S/he is one of those people who thinks it is a lot smarter than it really is and is too arrogant (and stupid) to consider other people's POV. Also, it's lack of comprehension is appalling and just too darn frustrating to deal with. You'll have a much better DEBATE with F@ke.

Will some one please tell me how he "puts his ethics into people." Does he have to tell you that he's going to or can he do it without our permission? Maybe subliminals in his movies? I don't want him to put his ethics in me.
you're absolutely WRONG, he does force this crap down peoples throats, if you worked in entertainment you'd know this.
He flat out says SP'S (supressive people.....thats EVERYONE that is not a $cientologist) will soon be something we only read about in history books........what does that say to you? How do you figure tc and $cientology is going to try to achieve that????
F@KE - Trust me, I can walk and chew gum at the same time.:) I don't half-@ss things in life which is why I have chosen one area to focus my energy: global health. I don't spread myself out on inane issues like "Scientology taking over the world." If I spread myself too thin, then I can't make a difference in the situations I feel are a "bit" more pressing.
Until the Scientologist run off to Jonestown and start running "White Night" drills, I'm not going to waste my efforts worrying about them: I'll leave "fighting the good fight against the evils of Scientology," up to professionals like you. Lol!
Does no one remember that "religion" where they all drank the "special" punch and off'd themselves while waiting for their spacecraft to come for them?
No wonder he hates shrinks! They would have a field day with Tom!
I just keep thinking of the Great and Powerful Wizard of Oz....."pay no attention to the little old man behind the curtain"
really - only they can help us, and if not them .....then who?......who?......who will save us ......who will save the world?......its Tom Cruise, ...ofcourse.....because he is the authority on everything. If you have a problem only HE has the answer, it was given to him because he's so special and his way is the right way......and he will argue until your ears bleed to make you understand ....but he won't even begin to listen to anyone else..........interesting.
Isn't that a mental condition?
If scientologist were that great, they wouldn't have removed the video from Youtube.
I like some of the theories put forth in Dianetics, but they turned it into this strange cult thing that makes them dangerous.
So basically Scientologist call everyone liars.
Laugh like mad men for no apparent reason.
Call anyone who disagrees with them scared or criminals.
they are also so confusing to listen to I am starting to wonder if the biggest bullies on earth - Brangelina - aren't Scientologists/clams as well.
You gotta love how these freaks of nature tell that Scientologist are about good communications, and then the twits can't even articulate what the hell they are trying to say,
The inside info gathered (can be seen on Youtube) shows just how twisted they are.

wow, I love you so mcu. Especial you nude photos on a naturist site called N U D I S T CONNECT.COM. You are interested in the lifestyle??
Thanks for the well wishes anon, and thanks for all the info F@ke, I've learned much more than I feel comfortable knowing with these people running around ;)
I was going to take that personality test LOL...never going to happen now...those questions are ridiculous...
good night all
(Numbered so I don't go on as I am prone to do.)
1. Dealing with and focusing on cults and Scientology does not equate to ignoring other problems. Most can walk and chew gum at the same time.
2. Some people are stupid. Some people just are. Fact of life. Thinking they deserved to be victimized, it's THEIR fault, because someone is smarter than they are and they weren't smart enough to catch on...I'm at a loss, as I always am when people blame the victim. It is a REAL issue and obviously one you have not bothered to educate yourself about, but yet continue to blame the victims for. (Aww, poor old lady, she was dumb, she lost everything to a liar. Man, if she had been smarter! I guess it's what happens when you're dumb! Oh well! The smart people, it won't happen to them!)
3. They already have a foothold. This is further proof you have not educated yourself.
4. I didn't realize empathy was a selective thing. Now I'VE learned something.
F@KE - In fact, I have tremendous empathy for people with REAL issues. I work in Global health, refugees, etc. Those are the people I feel sadness for and want to help. But people not using their brains and falling for this crap that is Scientology, no, not really ranking to high on my "empathy" reader.
Wake up people, there are a lot lot lot worse things out in our society OTHER than scientology. Once it starts gaining foothold within our society, then I might be concerned. Otherwise, let them practice in peace
