It’s finally here!
The Sex and the City movie trailer, which surfaced yesterday in advance of the movie’s May 30, 2008, release date, starts out with Carrie Bradshaw’s thoughts on her best girlfriends. (Check out their on-set looks here.)
“They say nothing lasts forever,” she says in a voice-over, as a camera pans across the Big Apple. “Dreams change, trends come and go, but friendships never go out of style!”
As the music switches to the show’s iconic theme song, we see Carrie in a wedding gown at a photo shoot, the girls walking down Fifth Avenue — and a smooch between Mr. Big and Carrie!

The song playing in the new trailer is "The Heart of the Matter". The song is originally by Don Henley, but India Arie does this version. You can get it on iTunes.

HELLO!?? This is Sex and the City, I can't wait for this movie to come out. I think this is the Movie of the year. They look fantastic. And I don't Really care if the movie will be as good as the show, I'm just so happy to see them. Sex and The City was and still is the best show in the world.

There's no reason to go and see this movie. They have shown us everything that was remotely interesting in their many, many promo bits. And yes, that dress is some ugly. The bust is about 13 sizes too large for SJP. I don't even think I'll rent the dvd.
