SPOILER ALERT: If you haven’t seen Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan yet, stop reading now.
But if you’ve already experienced the joys of a bear in an ice cream truck and a nude wrestling match with a man so obese his private parts are no longer discernible -- this post is for you.
You probably left the theater wondering which parts of the film were improv and which were prearranged, the biggest question being: Was former Baywatch star Pamela Anderson in on the scene where Borat [aka: Sacha Baron Cohen, 35] tries to (literally) bag her at a booksigning and haul her off to Kazakhstan?
The 39-year-old actress certainly gives the performance of her career, tearing out of a bookstore and through the parking lot (in serious heels) shrieking for help, with Borat giving chase.
However, an insider tells Page Six that the buxom beauty was in on the gonzo prank.
"There's no way Sacha and a camera operator could have gotten past her bodyguards in real life and then manhandled her," says the source. "It was filmed by pros so it looks completely realistic, as if Pamela had no clue. There is improvisation, but nobody was in the dark."
When MTV News questioned Anderson about her participation, she demurred, "I can't really say. I'm sworn to secrecy." She added, "I love Sacha, he's such a nice guy."
MTV concluded that Baron Cohen and Anderson likely arranged the ruse together, and then hired unknowing guards to react to the events.
Director Larry Charles was vague as well: "All I can say was that she was extremely good-humored about what happened to her."
