VIDEO: Watch David Letterman Flirt With Charlize Theron

Charlize Theron's cleavage-baring dress was a big hit with David Letterman when she appeared on The Late Show Tuesday.

"You look fantastic! Beautiful! Just gorgeous!" Letterman raved to the Hancock star (watch above). "Oh, my God. I bet you feel good wherever you go. You look great!"

When Letterman asked Theron about her summer plans, she replied, "I think I'm going to stay in this dress all summer... you've made me feel so gorgeous in it now."

Letterman replied, "You put that dress on somebody else, and it'd be okay, but on you, fireworks, absolute fireworks. Nice going!"

At one point (1 minute, 30 seconds in), Theron said her birthday is in August – "If you wanna send me something."

Letterman quipped, "Yes, I will, I'm sending you something right now." Then he buttoned his suit jacket.

Yes, I think David Letterman came on too strong to Charlize but that`s to be expected...look how old he is and how young she is and it`s his show and he thinks he`s entitled! I bet she wanted to throw up after the show and especially when she had a private convo with her bf Stu Townsend about the show and the phrase "dirty old man" probably did get said! Oh well! LOL

In his early days with the show, David was such a prude! Whenever Dr. Ruth was his guest, his reactions were hilarious. Over the years, he's gotten more comfortable with sex and sexuality on his show and his humor.

It's a late-night show! Whether or not he was overly lecherous is really a non-issue.

Leno is much worse than Letterman when it comes to being an old letch. It's very creepy when anyone does it.

That said, Charlize is GORGEOUS. She's one of the few truly gorgeous people in Hollywood. Anyone can look good with a great bod, tan, white teeth, clothes, stylist, etc.... Charlize is genuinely beautiful though. And it's ageless. She'd have been gorgeous as a movie star in the 20's...she's gorgeous as a movie star today. WOW!!

Stu Townsend is unbelievably lucky.

She really needs his help to further her career. Yeah right.
Letterman would have let me down if he didn't make a big deal about her appearance. That was the point of her being on the show. She's heard a lot worse from toofless fools everytime she leaves the house.
Evidentally she never made a guest appearance on the Man Show. Doubt this absurd question would have popped up regardless if she had.

Yes, I think he was a little bit inappropriate, and I've seen him do that before - really come on to a female guest. I think David Letterman is very witty and funny, but he kind of gives the impression of the 'dirty old man' when he acts like this with the young, female guests.
