FACEBOOKFor some reason I feel like I knew him and my heart is breaking for his family and friends. Its horrible im the same age as him and i have kids and cant imagine them growing up without me. Poor Matilda, she will always be able to see him in film and pictures and of course the stories shes gonna hear of how wonderful he was. Ive been watching all the news shows and stuff and its making me sick to see them comparing this tragedy of someone who was wonderful and caring like him to Anna Nicole Smith i was horrified that they were comparing him to her!!! But anyway may god bless his family. RIP Heath

Fans have built a makeshift memorial outside the downtown Manhattan building where Heath Ledger's body was found Tuesday afternoon. Flowers, candles and photos of the actor, who passed away at 28, adorn the doorstep.
The vigil began late Tuesday when a single flower was laid at the doorstep.

It's truly sad to hear the news of Heath Ledger. I've been a huge fan of his since 10 things I hate about you. If you've never seen...watch it...great vintage Heath. Aside from the fact that he was an amazing actor & a seemingly nice guy...he was a father most importantly..and I truly feel sad for Matilda, Michelle, and all his family & friends. When you're in your 20's you think you're invinceable...you never think there's a chance that tomorrow won't come...but it happens...and if it can happen to someone like Heath Ledger..it can happen to anyone...dont take anything for granted.

I can't believe that he is gone... I have been a fan since "THE PATRIOT" and he was such a joy 2 watch in any of his movies. I truly feel like this was a tragic accident.. no way did he do this on purpose. He was just tired.. Heath, u WILL b missed. R.I.P. You are with God now.

Brad Renfro's death really upset me, too. He was a talented actor, also, and it was very sad and shocking. To have both of these young, talented men leave us at such a young age is heartbreaking. I am a recovering alcholic and my heart just broke for both of them. It served as a reminder that anyone recovering from any addiction is only one step away from this. My prayers go out for both of them.

It is sad that he died at such a young age......with so much going for him.....I didn't know him personally, so I can't say that I am totally distraught by his passing...but I did see a few of his movies, and he was a pretty good actor....He was a quiet person that basically stayed out of the spotlight and media.....he will be missed by many of his fans for sure....
Personally...I have to look passed the fact of him being an actor and being famous...He was a father...that is what makes me sad.....
I really feel sorry for his daughter...she won't grow up with her daddy.....every little girl needs her daddy...

this is really devastating. i don't know why it is making me so upset, he just seemed like he had a good soul. he's so young and this is just devastating. this is a true talent and the true first lost of talent to touch many generations especially the younger ones. such shocking news.

I'm still in shock by the death of Health Ledger. When I first heard the news I was in totality shock I stood in front of the TV for a good second. I could not believe what I was hearing. He was just a great actor. He was too younger to leave us. Health was one of a kind, wonderful & great.My pray’s go out to his family, Michelle & to his little girl Matilda.
