Tammy Biggins & Michael McCormack

How did you meet?

"Mike is my cousin's husband's best friend. I was supposed to be set up with him, but put it off forever because I was sick of dating. One night, I was out with a big group of friends, and was finally introduced to him. Since then, we've been inseparable."

Tell Us about your engagement.

"He took me to downtown Boston with the intention of going on a horse carriage ride the night before my birthday. While walking around, he kept stopping and stalling. Finally I demanded to know what was going on, and he popped the question! After, we celebrated at a local bar with all my friends and family."

Have you overcome any obstacles?

"Four days after I got engaged, my doctors told me a biopsy showed I had skin cancer, and I'd need to have surgery in two weeks. It was hard going from one euphoric emotion to a very low time. Mike also bought the home his grandmother lived in as a child in a foreclosure sale, and it's a disaster! We live with two roommates just to pay the mortgage and all the costs involved with fixing it up.

Which past celebrity wedding is your favorite and why?

"I loved that Gwen Stefani wore a pink dress!"

Describe your Dream Wedding.

"I've never dreamed of a wedding like many little girls, but my dream would be a destination wedding where I could celebrate with family and friends. It's like being on vacation with everyone you love!"

Why should people vote for you?

"My fiancé's parents are partly paying for the wedding because my family has always lived in the projects and never quite made it by. (They were great parents who managed to send my sister and me to Catholic school and instill a strong work ethic in us.) I have worked since the age of 14. Now, I'm a full-time nanny and work over 50 hours a week."
