Jamie Lynn Spears added to the year's surprise pregnancies by announcing that she and beau Casey Aldridge were expecting.
But in an interview with the Associated Press shortly before Thanksgiving, the 16-year-old said she did not have a serious boyfriend.
"I kind of just keep my options open," she said. "I have a bunch of friends that I always hang out with, a bunch of guy friends."
(In the same interview, Jamie Lynn — who said she eventually wants to study at Louisiana State University — added that she had no plans to follow in Britney's footsteps and move to L.A. "No! Never will," she said, laughing, when asked if she'd ever leave her Kentwood, Lousiana, home. "It's, you know, it's my friends," she says. "It's where I grew up. I want to stay here.")
Meanwhile, Aldridge's mother, Joyce, spoke to TMZ.com about the pregnancy, saying she did not mind that Jamie Lynn made her pregnancy public.
"We are in agreement with everything that was said by Jamie Lynn about the situation ... everything is fine. ... Casey will address all of this when it is time."

I dont feel ashame about being young and having a baby im 17 years old and when i found out yea i was sad and mad and almost got the crap beatin out of me but once my mom got the hang of me not getting a abortion she was fine i dont regret going thhrough with it and nither should Jamie.the only thing i regret was not being able to protect my child i fell down some stairs and lost my baby thats the only thing i regret.
