It seems so real, right?
Ever notice how perfect the camera angles and lighting are? Everyone's makeup is flawless. No wild fights break out (like they do on "Real World", which is shockingly enough NOT scripted).
Well, "The Hills" is scripted.
Every "real" person on the show is an actor.
They're all getting richer and richer off the gullibility of the public.
Hollywood producers know Americans are so disillusioned by the war, the recession and everything else that we'll believe anything.
So they've got us by the balls.

Last night I got home and there was my US magazine renewal in the mail. What great timing!! Just when US runs ANOTHER FLIPPING HILLS COVER AGAIN!!! I'm so sick of US's obssession with The Hills!!! I am sure US mag subscriptons and readership must be way down. Is there a place we can check that, anyone know? US is annoying their readers big time now and don''t care as they aren't listening, we've been saying for ages to stop with the Reality TV and Hills covers!! SO disrespectful for US's PAYING public!!

This makes me so happy I didn't renew my subscription to Us Weekly when it ended three weeks ago! My last magazine had a "this is your last issue" cover over the real cover...I couldn't have been happier to see that. The worst thing is opening your mailbox to see Heidi, Spencer, and/or Lauren Conrad on the cover. This just shows me that I definitely made the right choice. I will never buy another issue of Us Weekly because of their ridiculous, NON-STOP coverage of The Hills.

My US subscription is coming to an end and I couldn't be happier. I am so glad I didn't renew it b/c US is nothing but a waste of paper and my time. I can't even remember the last time I thought I read a good issue of your so-called magazine. It's bad enough to have these Hills losers in your magazine every week, but to always have them on the covers is ridiculous. The show can't be anymore scripted and fake and to constantly report on their set-up feuds and high school drama proves that your magazine is now pure crap, just like The Hills...way to go US!

Is the parent company that owns US the same that owns MTV??? Cause otherwise I can see no logical reason for this mag to constantly throw these fools down our throats. These girls are on a stupid reality show on cable tv- they belong on the cover of Teen Beat or some other teeny bopper mag- all US is accomplishing is irritating the majority of their subscribers as well as people like me who buy the magazine (waiting in line at the grocery store) based on who is on the cover. US won't be getting my $$ this week!!
