Gina,
No reputable mental health professional would purport to accurately dispense an Axis 2 diagnosis on a client which they have never met in consult; nor would it be ethically sound for one to divulge personal client info in public. Furthermore, Borderline Personality Disorder is not a fixed and static diagnosis nor is it considered to be a chronic and persistent mental illness. Therefore, specific tendencies or characteristics displayed by individuals during pubescence and late teens, to mid twenties, cannot be seen to dominate an individual's character in mid to late life. In summary, your allegation that Angelina Jolie is a BPD is preposterous and with no credible evidence to support your conclusion. In my experience, many young women self-harm and use a lack of discretion and exhibit what would be described as a lack of impulse control in their late teens and early twenties, but these tendencies are tempered by maturity. In turn, Angelina's concern and pro-active stance with regard to socio-political & humanitarian issues exhibit an intellectual and emotional framework, guided through empathy, which are antithetical to an BDP diagnosis. I know this because I have worked exclusively with Personality disorders for over a decade. You simply do not know what you are talking about and I would caution you against airing your flatulent and misplaced judgments in public forums such as this.
D.
