Victoria's secret is not responsible per se. It is well-known (and several scientific articles described it) that formaldehyde is used to treat lycra products. Depending on who makes them, the content varies. And it is by wearing them (usually rubbing clothes and sweating increases the effect) that you get those rashes. I went to see a physician and he told me this was allergy (what I knew already).
This is unfortunate for these women but suing VS will not do anything for the millions of Lycra clothes on the market and as potentially allergenic as those bras. Calamine lotion and patience are the best remedies ! AND WEAR GOOD OLD COTTON PRODUCTS !!!

i totally agree with her lawsuit. victoria secret has been making cheaply made clothing for a long long time. you can wear them for 2 weeks and it's like they were made to fall apart! as for anyone making comments about her weight.... you don't know how her body looks. if you buy the properly sized underwear it shouldn't come apart like that and when she contacted vs they didn't want to do anything about it. i remember a time when vs wasn't that huge and they cared about their customers and the quality of their products, but it seems after they hit the big-time they forgot their roots and are probably getting cheap labor from 3rd world country so they can make an even bigger profit. i hope she wins and also i hope vs starts making a change for the good.

Hmm. I put a condom on the other day and it snapped back. That really hurt, but it didn't injure my cornea. Although it could have. I was in the car drinking a mcdonald's coffee at the time. So not only did it snap back and whack me, causing grievous mental damage, but the coffee spilled on my girlfriend, who unfortunately was putting on a thong at the time. I guess if she hadn't been eating so many hamburgers it would have fit better, but Burger King didn't have adequate warning that eating 20 hamburgers a day would make her fat. It really ticks me off. Anyway, after the coffee spilled it made me crash my car into a street sign. I'm suing the city for the accident. The street sign wasn't properly lit and it clearly should have been and surrounded by a pad. Sheesh. Anyway, afterwards, the thong part hit my favorite pants. I brought them to a dry cleaner and the sign outside said "satisfaction guaranteed" but I wasn't satisfied because they had a hole in them, darn it! So now I'm suing the condom company, mcdonalds, the city, victoria's secret, and burger king. I'm also suing a few judges because they told me to "get a clue". I went to the toy store and bought Clue, but I still haven't gotten money from my lawsuits, so their advice is bad and I wasted my money on the game and didn't become really rich. Life is very unfair. I just don't understand why this is happening to me.

This isn't like the woman spilled hot coffee in between her legs and sued McDonalds for their coffee being too hot. Come on people! When you purchase something, such as underwear from VS you expect a good brand that will last awhile. You don't expect it to break on you the second time you wore it! Mistakes happen...VS could have very well made a defective piece of underwear.
