Zac Efron was rushed to L.A.'s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center today after suffering from appendicitis.
"Zac had his appendix removed and is recuperating," his rep tells Usmagazine.com.
TMZ.com first reported the news.
The High School Musical star, 20 — who recently dismissed rumors that he is gay — will star in the upcoming film Seventeen and Disney's third installment of High School Musical.

Zac Efron did NOT post any information on the Richromances.com site. That rumor has been going around for about two years. Zac even said in an interview he never heard of the site.
