Pantone just flipped our color calendar once again with its announcement of the 2019 color of the year. In 2018, the color was UltraViolet, and we saw celebrities we love from Rihanna to Queen Elizabeth II wearing the blue-based purple. For 2019, prepare to go much brighter. Pantone has decided that the color we will be seeing everywhere will be Living Coral, a hue with a golden undertone that gives us joyful, beachy vibes.
We may as well give in now because Living Coral will be on everything from skinny jeans to eyeshadow palettes to nail polish. Imagine the many monochrome looks that are about to hit Instagram!
The true trick to trying out the Pantone color of the year is really to incorporate it into a wardrobe as naturally as possible.
