Summary

Executive Editor of Beauty and Style Gwen Flamberg got her start in the beauty world young — at the age of 14, as a roller-skating hair model in her hometown of Forest Hills, New York. Since then, she has been an avid follower of celebrity style trends, including the statement lip, beach waves and over-the-knee boots. Contrary to popular opinion, her favorite night of the week is Sunday, especially during awards season when she can be found planning and producing Us Weekly’s extensive red carpet style and beauty coverage.

Work or writing background leading to expertise

Since joining Us Weekly in 2008, Gwen, who has every A-list glam squad pro on speed-dial, has become one of the most sought after red carpet beauty and style experts in the business. She hosts the hair, makeup and fashion-focused “Get Tressed With Us” podcast which takes listeners behind-the-scenes on Oscars night, to the streets of Windsor, England awaiting Duchess Meghan’s next outfit, on the red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival or backstage at Coachella with the stars’ pros. Gwen also co-hosts Us Weekly’s “Hot Hollywood” podcast, spilling the tea on the celeb gossip of the week.

Gwen studied communications and journalism at George Washington University (where she never tried out for the crew team).
