Emily Ratajkowski

Emily Ratajkowski was born in Westminster, London, but raised in Encinitas near San Diego. While she attended UCLA, she ended up dropping out to pursue a career as a full-time model in 2010.

The My Body author first signed onto Ford Models when she was 14 years old and also booked a guest star role on the Nickolodeon series iCarly at the time. Her rise to fame, however, did not begin until she appeared in Robin Thicke, T.I. and Pharell William’s music video for “Blurred Lines” in 2013. After the model’s big break, she was featured on the cover of multiple magazines including GQ and CR Fashion Book.

Ratajkowski made her transition into acting with the role of Andie Fitzgerald in David Fincher’s adaptation of Gone Girl in 2014. Some of her other projects include Entourage, I Feel Pretty and We Are Your Friends.

Apart from print modeling and acting, the London native made her professional catwalk modeling debut for Marc Jacobs at New York Fashion Week in 2015. She has since gone onto have a successful runaway career posing for brands like Bottega Veneta and Dolce & Gabbana.

The actress is also a strong advocate for women’s health issues and published her essay collection, My Body, in November 2021.

The DKNY spokeswoman started dating actor and producer Sebastian Bear-McClard in 2018. A few weeks later, the pair tied the knot in a surprise courthouse ceremony. Ratajkowski gave birth to the couple’s first child, Sylvester Apollo Bear, in 2021. In July 2022, the twosome split after four years of marriage. The Esquire’s 2013 “Woman Of The Year” has also been linked to Brad Pitt, Jeff Magdid and Andrew Dryden.
