Born March 15, 1975, the reigning queen of ABC’s Desperate Housewives went from an unknown soap-opera actress to Maxim cover girl in just five years.
On the heels of a guest-star appearance on Beverly Hills 90210 back in 2000, Longoria quickly transitioned into soap operas when she landed a reoccurring role on The Young and the Restless. The 2004 TV debut of Desperate Housewives, on which Longoria stars as restless and oversexed Gabrielle Solis, resulted in the Texas native earning a sex icon status that afforded her two straight years at the top of the MAXIM Hot 100 list.
Longoria wed San Antonio Spurs basketball player Tony Parker in a lavish Parisian ceremony in July 2007; three years later, the actress filed for divorce amidst cheating rumors, citing irreconcilable differences.
