Born in Los Angeles on April 9, 1990, Kristen Stewart came from a show business family and started her acting career at 8 years old. The young talent took on small roles before landing the role of Jodie Foster’s daughter in the 2002 thriller Panic Room.

A stream of moderately successful films followed, but it was not until she was cast as the lead female in Twilight’s film adaptation that she truly put Hollywood on notice. Starring as Bella Swan in the five-part film saga from 2008 to 2012, Stewart was named the highest-paid actress in 2012 with earnings of $34.5 million, according to Forbes.

The actress continued to land major roles after her final Twilight Saga movie, playing Snow White in 2012’s Snow White & the Huntsman and Sabina in the 2019 reboot of Charlie’s Angels. The California native made her directorial debut in 2017 with the short film Come Swim and earned critical acclaim for her acting roles in smaller budget films such as 2014’s Still Alice, 2015’s Anesthesia and 2019’s Seberg.

Stewart’s romance with Twilight costar Robert Pattinson had fans captivated from when they got together in mid-2009 until their 2013 breakup. The star has since dated film producer Alicia Cargile, model Stella Maxwell and musician St. Vincent.
