On fleek forevermore! Bella Thorne got her eyebrows tatted in a series of Snapchat videos on Sunday, July 31. The Ratchet & Clank star, 18, who already had thick brows, showed her followers the ins and outs of the (occasionally painful) procedure at Los Angeles’ Microblading LA.
Eyebrow tattooing is a process that eliminates the need for your favorite pencils and powders, as it defines your brows and fills in gaps. Using a microblade with tiny needles, a technician dips the tool in pigment and draws strokes identical to your existing hair. The “tattoos” last up to 24 months.
Thorne, who wore an Adidas sports bra and leggings, shared a before shot of her red brows, which weren’t filled in. “Here I go,” she wrote. The former Disney star then showed a technician using a needle to etch strands on Thorne’s face. “Ok now I get more numbing,” she wrote. The actress, who’s dating actor Gregg Sulkin, took the pain like a trooper throughout her whole story. But toward the end, Thorne expressed disdain for the coloring portion. “I think that’s my least favorite part,” she said.
But the discomfort paid off. She was visibly happy with the finished result: natural-looking arches, ending her story with a selfie and a snappy caption: “YASSS brows.”
Thorne has experimented with her look throughout the summer. On Saturday, June 18, she teased her fans with a Photoshopped image of blue- and purple-streaked hair. “Hmmmm what color am I doing today ????,” she wrote. Later that day, she unveiled her true color: “Red AND pink bitches!!!” she wrote, displaying her colorful mane. “Thank you to my babies for bringing this to life !!”
