Throwback Bey!
Beyonce joined her husband Jay Z on stage for a surprise performance at the Global Citizen Festival concert, held in New York City’s Central Park on Saturday, Sept. 27, and with her came new — or shall we say, semi-new — bangs.
Dressed in a low-cut cream colored Dolce & Gabbana top with black high-waisted trousers, the hairstyle brought back strong memories of Queen Bey from another time.
Back in 2006, a 25-year-old Beyonce managed to shred her coy image with a sexy music video for “Deja Vu,” off her second album, B’Day. Much like her recent performance in New York City, the video featured the star dancing around in a tight-fitting lace dress with a heart-shaped bodice, performing for her then-future husband and collaborator, with her full bangs bouncing with every turn.
