Get caught red-handed! Christian Louboutin is known for his coveted sky-high stilettos with bright red soles. Now the designer, 53, wants his devoted followers in crimson from their fingertips down to their toes. The brand’s Red Nail Extensions, a collection of three new shades, launched on April 25. This collection joins the The Nudes, The Noirs and The Pops, which also included scarlet tones.
“Having created countless red designs over the last 20 years, Christian Louboutin has a discerning eye for the colour, and thus each shade is carefully developed for exceptional colour payoff and high-shine,” a release from the brand reads.
Jazzy Doll emulates the shade of peonies, and it’s “as glamorous as the leather sandal it’s named after,” the release continues. Lady Peep, with its raspberry hue, is named after a shoe of the same name. And EdgyPopi, the brightest out of the bunch, is a fun orange-red that’s perfect for the summer.
