The hair changes keep on coming!
Hilary Duff is turning into a bona fide beauty chameleon right before our very eyes. For the Younger actress’ latest beauty stunt, she traded in her head-turning mermaid teal hair color for bright pink.
The mother to 3-year-old Luca unveiled her edgy new look replete with bright fuchsia lipstick and a bedazzled top via Instagram. “#nofilter #sparks #adambreuchaud @etienneortega @hannahluxdavis @brettalanelson @amylilfire,” she captioned the selfie, calling out her glam squad.
Prior to dyeing her hair blue-green last month, the actress was devoted to the soft, honey-blonde hue she’d had since her Disney days. It seems with the resurgence of her TV and music career, however, she’s out to make a powerful statement.
Before her walk over to the pink side, Duff, 27, discussed the inspiration behind her initial hair change on March 31, on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. “I’ve never done anything like this! I was just in Cabo with my son and I was staring at the ocean, and I was like, I want that on my head,” she said. “So this happened.”
Although she might have been adventurous by going blue, Duff still had to check in with her son for the final approval. “Luca is very particular about how he likes my hair,” the Lizzie McGuire alum said. “There’s absolutely no buns on my head, no ponytails. I’ll have a ponytail and he’s like, ‘Um, hair down, Mom. Hair down please.’ At least he knows what he likes!”
