To shampoo or not to shampoo — that is the question. For Jessica Alba, the answer is all about looking fresh and keeping her hair hydrated.

While some celebs like Carrie Underwood own up to shampooing every day, others, like Kim Kardashian, proudly skip a day to save their strands. For Alba, 34, it all depends on the day. When she gets sweaty, there's no option but to lather, rinse and repeat. "When I work out, I definitely wash my hair everyday," she told Us Weekly at the Who What Wear x Target collaboration launch in NYC on Wednesday, January 27.

But that doesn't mean the Honest Company cofounder, who launched Honest Beauty in November, doesn't get in on the no-shampoo action as long as it means keeping her "day two" hair healthy. "I like at least putting conditioner through my ends and doing a rinse if I'm not going to wash," she says. "I just have dry hair, so I can always use that."

Alba's not the only one to jump on the bandwagon. Kardashian also recently weighed in on the wash versus no-wash hair debate on her site, Kimkardashianwest.com. "Keeping your hair shiny and soft in the winter can be difficult!" the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 35, shared. "I only shampoo it twice a week to prevent it from drying out."
