Getting into character! Kate Hudson is changing up her look for her upcoming film The Long Night. The actress showed off her new short locks via Instagram on Thursday, May 7.
“First day on set of new film and they’re going to town on my hair!” Hudson, 36, captioned a selfie. “Ah!!!!!#TheLongNight.”
In the pic, the mom of two looked shocked at the (minor!) transformation. With a few snips, her luscious blonde waves — soaking wet in the snapshot — went from long to a chic shoulder-length cut.
Earlier this week, Hudson kept her hair up in a loose updo while attending the star-studded Met Gala in NYC. Back in February, she let her tresses down while supporting designer friend Michael Kors at his Fashion Week show.
