Kendall Jenner‘s very first cosmetics print campaign for Estee Lauder is about to hit books, and to celebrate, Us Weekly has your exclusive look behind the scenes of the budding supermodel’s Pure Color Envy Liquid Lip Potion shoot inside this Wednesday’s issue. But before that, we have one more exclusive for you: Jenner’s promotional video for the luxe lacquer!
In the cheeky 45-second product “trailer,” Jenner, 19, clad in a leather dress with zipper accents, promises to strike a serious pose for the camera—only to be snapped secretly making a series of funny faces. (How very Cara Delevingne of you, miss.) Of course, she’s also showing off the label’s high-intensity lip color—the Pure Color Envy Liquid Lip Potion in “Lethal Red,” to be precise ($30, EsteeLauder.com).
Celebrity makeup artist Victor Henao, who glammed up the reality star-turned-runway sensation for the shoot, said that while the statement lip is ultra-glam, the rest of her face is “classic Kendall.” “I did red on her lips, of course, then her signature skin, which is just really, really smooth and flawless—medium-to-full coverage [foundation] with natural highlights to it,” he shared. “We didn’t go crazy on the contouring, because I wanted the focus to be on her lips.”
