Sealed with an over-sized smooch! Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi took to Instagram on Monday, Aug. 3, to reveal that after much debate, she took the plunge and got her first round of lip injections to plump up her pout.
Captioning a selfie featuring her enhanced kisser, the Jersey Shore alum, 27, wrote, “First session of lip plumps and it’s just fabulous. I’ve always hated my thin lips and never thought I had the balls to get needles in my lip to perfect them but I did! Trust me girls, I was terrified to get my first ‘procedure’ ever done, but it wasn’t terrible at all! And I hate needles! I love my ‘natural beauty,’ but being able to enhance my lips to make me feel better about myself is life.”
Polizzi’s choice to amp up her pout should come as no surprise to her rabid fan base. The petite reality starlet has shared more than one selfie on her Instagram account, asking if she’s perfected the “Kylie Jenner lip” (referencing Jenner’s famously enviable lips).
Of course, this isn’t Snooki’s first big change of the year. The mom to Lorenzo, 2, and Giovanna, 10 months, (shared with husband Jionni LaValle) rang in 2015 by ditching her signature long locks in favor of a chic bob dyed an elegant mahogany hue. (Though she’s returned to her preferred scarlet shade since then.)
