Owning it! Amy Schumer shut down body shamers who have been attacking her appearance by posting a photo of her beach body and letting them know she’s totally confident with her figure.
The Trainwreck actress, 34, took to Instagram to share a pic of herself rocking a black one-piece swimsuit. “I meant to write ‘good morning trolls!’ I hope you find some joy in your lives today in a human interaction and not just in writing unkind things to a stranger you’ve never met who triggers something in you that makes you feel powerless and alone,” she wrote on Tuesday, May 24.
“This is how I look. I feel happy. I think I look strong and healthy and also like miss trunchbull from Matilda,” she said of the brawny headmistress. “Kisses!”
The comedian has been vacationing in Hawaii with boyfriend Ben Hanisch to celebrate their six-month anniversary. The furniture designer shared a sweet message for the milestone along with a snap from the getaway. “6 months with this babe and I couldn’t be any happier,” he wrote on Thursday, May 19. The Inside Amy Schumer star also posted a photo on Saturday, May 21, in which the pair explore the island and enjoy the view, jokingly captioned, “Ewwwwww.”
