Iskra Lawrence

She’s all that and a bag of chips! Model Iskra Lawrence had a pretty badass response to an Instagram user who left a fat-shaming comment on a recent picture. The face of the #AerieREAL campaign — which aims to promote body positivity — shut down the haters by posting a video of herself clad in lingerie eating a bag of potato chips and captioned it with an inspirational message on Friday, April 1.

The size 14 beauty digs into a bag of chips and gives a middle finger to the haters in the slow motion clip. She also posted an Instagram snap of herself lying amongst dozens of bags of the delicious salty snack.

✨?Had to make a #slow-mo too?…This is for anyone who has ever been called FAT. Thanks for the inspirational words on a recent pic @zseanzbrown ?? "Fat cow. It's only cus every F****r on this planet is obese that that's the norm… Plus-size models? give me a F*****g breaking. Everyone needs to stop eating McDonald's, the NHS is f****d because of people like her eating too many bags of crisps." Ps I do not condone binge eating. I eat whatever I want in moderation. I will eat crisps but I'll also make healthy home cooked meals and workout regularly. The message is who gives a F what anyone else thinks of you. YOU are the only one who decides yourself worth✨ And sorry I'm usually not rude or give anyone the finger but these online trolls smdh ??? #iskralawrence #everyBODYisbeautiful

“I’m sorry I couldn’t help myself…This is for anyone who has ever been called FAT,” Lawrence, 25, wrote on Instagram before shutting down the rude commenter who called her a “fat cow” and said plus-size models promote obesity, that “everyone needs to stop eating McDonald’s” and “people like her [eat] too many bags of crisps” (a.k.a. British slang for chips).

The model turned the negative comments into a powerful message for her fans. She told them she’s not afraid to eat a little junk food every once in a while. “I eat whatever I want in moderation. I will eat crisps but I’ll also make healthy home cooked meals and workout regularly,” she added on Instagram. "The message is who gives a F what anyone else thinks of you. YOU are the only one who decides yourself worth.”
