Goodbye, Bachelor…Hello, Bachelorette! Catherine Giudici left fiance Sean Lowe at home this weekend to enjoy a little pre-wedding getaway with some of her best girlfriends. The group headed down to Miami, Fla., on Friday, Dec. 6, for some sandy, sun-soaked fun on the beach, where the reality TV star showed off her sexy bikini body.
The 27-year-old graphic designer — who won Lowe's heart on season 17 of The Bachelor earlier this year — was all smiles as she sunbathed with pals in a bright yellow bikini. "Life is fun," she tweeted of the bachelorette festivities on Dec. 8. "I am lucky to have the coolest chicks to call my friends!"
She was lucky, too, that the group of 15 even made it to Miami. They were supposed to meet up on Dec. 5, but bad weather kept Giudici in Dallas longer than anticipated.
"If I'm stuck in the airport because of the ice warning, you can find me at the bar in my neon bikini and Uggs," she joked on Dec. 4. The next morning, she tweeted: "Adrenaline rush began early – flight canceled, had to notify all 15 of my girls, got rebooked, and it's only 10:30am. Off to pack the goods!"
Fortunately, she and her friends eventually made it to sunny Florida. "I truly am in love, Friday," she captioned a photo of herself wearing a "Friday I'm in Love" shirt on Dec. 6. "Heading to Miami and can't wait to continue the girly time fun!"
The fun did indeed continue. Giudici and her girls enjoyed lots of bachelorette activities over the weekend, including dinner at Katsuya, where they feasted on sashimi, sushi, and the restaurant's signature Kiwi Envy cocktail.
As previously reported, the brunette stunner is set to marry Bachelor alum Lowe in a live wedding special on ABC on Jan. 26, 2014. "The Bachelor is such a cool experience because people at home feel like they know us and they're invested in our relationship," Lowe, 29, told Good Morning America in October. "We have no problem sharing the actual wedding with everyone who has been with us so far."
"I just want it to be fun and show our love," his bride-to-be added. "Other than that, I know it will be a beautiful wedding."
