In January 2018, Kardashian revealed on her website that she had practiced a ketogenic diet in conjunction with intermittent fasting “for 2-3 months” in 2017. As dietitian Keri Glassman explains, keto is often paired with intermittent fasting because of the complementary functions they provide. “For most people doing intermittent fasting, they are just reducing calories,” the pro tells Us. “Their body won’t turn to stored fat, because even though they’ve fasted, they have enough reserves.”
