Awkward! Kim Zolciak called Andy Cohen out for not inviting her to his baby shower on the Sunday, February 17, episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen — and the new dad explained himself.
“It was all current Housewives [who] were invited, and it was thrown by five current Housewives,” the host, 50, told the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star, 40. “NeNe [Leakes] brought Phaedra [Parks] as a surprise.”
He added: “Then that day I was thinking, ‘God, man, it would have been so great if Kim was there.’ And that’s when I texted you, ‘I just wanted you to know that I’m thinking of you and I wish that you were here.’”
Zolciak admitted that she was surprised to see that Parks was at the party. “I was gonna say, that bitch is old as f–k,” the former reality star said. “Old, like a couple years ago.”
But Zolciak wouldn’t have been able to attend anyway because she had back surgery the day before.
“It’s a lot for you to deal with, you’ve done such a great job dealing with all of our crazy f–king asses throughout the years,” Zolciak said to Cohen. “You really have, because it’s a lot of pressure. You can’t go to my wedding and not go to NeNe’s. It’s a balancing act for you, and I have to give it up to you because you do it tastefully.”
Cohen enjoyed not one, but two, star-studded baby showers last month. He celebrated first with Kelly Ripa, Sarah Jessica Parker, Anderson Cooper and a few other friends on the east coast. The Bravo stars would go on to throw him another party at The Palms restaurant in Los Angeles on January 26.
His baby boy arrived on February 4, and Cohen introduced him with a father-son Instagram post.
“This is my son, Benjamin Allen Cohen,” he wrote. “He is 9 lbs 2 ounces !! 20 inches !! Born at 6:35 pm, PT. He is named after my grandfather Ben Allen. I’m in love. And speechless. And eternally grateful to an incredible surrogate. And I’m a dad. Wow.”
