No. 2! Armie Hammer’s wife, Elizabeth Chambers Hammer, is pregnant with their second child, the Lone Ranger actor announced on Instagram on Thursday, September 8.
“Ready to start the #torontointernationalfilmfestival festivities… All three of us!” Hammer, 30, captioned a sweet photo of his hand on his wife’s growing baby bump. In the snap, Elizabeth looks stunning in a fitted white dress while he opted for a sleek suit.
Chambers, a bakery owner, also posted the same photo on her Instagram account. “Dressed and ready for the premiere of #Freefire. And the premiere of baby Hammer Number 2!” she captioned the shot.
Hammer is at the festival for his upcoming film Free Fire, which also stars Brie Larson.
The couple welcomed their first child together, daughter Harper, in December 2014. After welcoming their firstborn, the duo started thinking about having another.
"They talk about having a couple, though they're thrilled with one now," an insider told Us at the time of Harper’s birth. "They treated their dog as a good warm-up."
The Social Network star and Chambers, 34, tied the knot in 2010. During a 2013 interview with Town & Country, Chambers revealed that Hammer wanted to get married early on in their relationship.
"He sat me down and said, 'Look, we don't have to do this. We could just go our own ways, and then one day you'll be 40 and divorced and we'll run into each other, and we'll laugh and go out to dinner and have this same connection, and we'll wonder why we wasted all of that time,’" she recalled to the mag. "Or we could just do it now and enjoy the ride.'"
